25.01.2022 Tomorrow is the start of a new chapter for our business in our new premises on Hovell St!! It’s been a roller coaster of a ride over the last 12 months, but we have finally got there! Thank you to everyone for your support. For those of you who listened to me talk (and whinge ) about it all the time, for those who I forgot to call back because my brain was preoccupied (), for those who let me answer phone calls from tradies as I treated you, I cannot thank you enough...!! To our families and friends that have supported and helped us every step of the way, words cannot describe how grateful we are to all of you! We still have lots to do to create our dream space, but we will get there in time. We look forward to sharing this space with you all and hope that you find it warm and inviting and a lovely place to relax and enjoy your osteopathic treatments! We can’t wait to see you there!!

24.01.2022 To all our lovely patients, I just wanted to give you an update on what’s happening at the clinic. I’m sure everyone agrees that it’s been a tough few days with so much uncertainty and stress, so I want to keep you as updated as I can. We wanted to let you know that we will remain open at this stage. The Australian Heath minister declared yesterday that all allied health practitioners are deemed essential services and encouraged us to stay open to serve any of you that may ne...ed us during this difficult time. For the health and safety of all our staff and patients we are strongly abiding by health and infection control protocols: please use the sanitiser available at the front desk on arrival to the clinic most of the linen has been removed from the treating room. Whatever is used is taken away to be washed straight after use. the tables are all being disinfected between patients, as well as the chairs and door handles, pens, front desk and the eftpos machine we will be leaving the front door open, so you will not have to touch the handle when you enter the clinic all toys, magazines and cups have been removed from the waiting area We are also asking that you try to abide by the social distancing restrictions. To make this easier: we have spaced all the waiting room chairs 2m apart can we have just one patient on the couch, unless you are family members. we are opening the back room with extra chairs, to create extra space if required. we also ask if you could try to limit who you bring with you to your appointment. The treatment rooms are much smaller than our waiting room with a maximum of 3 people (including your treating practitioner) allowed in the room at any time if possible. I understand this may be difficult during school holidays, so I will put a tv and DVD player in the back room with plenty of chairs for the older children if required. 19.01.2022 SHE’S BACK!!!! After completing a 3 month internship at the clinic last year, Brooke has finally finished her Osteopathy degree and is now a fully qualified osteopath! 06.01.2022 COVID-19: Information for patients To all our wonderful patients, In response to the outbreak of COVID-19, our team have escalated our cleaning and hygiene practices to proactively protect the health of our staff and other patients. Hand sanitiser will be placed at the reception desk and we ask that you make use of it on arrival to the clinic. If you are feeling unwell, please consider rescheduling your appointment. ... For the protection of the health of our staff and other patients we ask for your cooperation regarding the following: - Our team have formally been authorized to reschedule or refuse treatment of anyone with flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath) or possible chest infection - Patients or staff that have travelled overseas must not attend the clinic for 14 days after returning home - Any patient or staff member who has had close contact** with any person with a confirmed case of COVID-19 must not attend for 14 days following exposure **Close contact is considered to be 15 mins of face to face interaction or 2 hours within a closed space with someone who is a confirmed case or gets symptoms within 24 hours of you seeing them - It is your obligation to pass this information on to reception or practitioners. I’m sure you can appreciate that the health of our team and other patients is paramount. - If any of our staff are concerned about your health, you may be asked to wear a face mask for the duration of your time within in the clinic. - At this stage, My Osteo Echuca will not be closing and we will be continuing to support you all as usual.
