21.01.2022 Happy Monday, everyone! This week at Little Blessings ELC we will be celebrating recycling week. It is a great time to educate and remind the children about the importance of taking care of our environment. One of the ways we do so is through recycling. We have set up a Recycling Station in every centre and ask you to bring recyclable materials such as cereal boxes, empty bottles, baby food jars.... It will be so much fun for the children and use those materials again and to become a part of the reduce-reuse-recycle process.

20.01.2022 Today we celebrate Fathers Day! In the lead up to Fathers Day, the children at Little Blessings had been busy learning new skills through fun. The whole week we had Fathers Day activities suited to childrens abilities and interests. These activities ranged from making personalised cards and unique ties to dying socks and developing a secret recipe for a perfect BBQ Rub every father would enjoy. Everyone enjoyed the fun of creating and was happy with the result.... Fine motor refers to the group of skills involved in the ability to manipulate smaller objects with the hands and fingers, for example, grasping, holding and pinching.... Fine motor skills are necessary for many aspects of self-care as children, for example: putting on shoes, feeding themselves, cleaning their own teeth. Fine motor skills are also critical for the development of emergent writing. At Little Blessings ELC we do understand the importance of fine motor skills development.
