06.01.2022 Interesting fact I found out from a very helpful staff member at Bunnings ... Use sugar cane mulch for vegetables, not only does it save water and keep down weeds, but when you're ready for harvesting and crop rotation you can just dig the remaining mulch in and it improves your soil! Win win!

01.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone! Hope you had a wonderful festive season and your gardens have not gone too crazy if you've been away! ... We were away for a couple of weeks and came back home to a very overgrown garden, much to the delight of Jack and Molly who started off playing 'hunt the ball' in the grass! and then loved picking the beans off the bean teepee - quite a harvest!
