23.01.2022 Today's science experiment - Skittles experiment We arranged Skittles in a single row coloured pattern around the edge of the plate. Poured enough warm water to cover all the Skittles and the plate itself. Watched and waited as a rainbow appears on the plate, the colours moved towards the middle and created a whirl of colour. Children were amused by this experiment. Sam and Lilly said " Look its rainbow. Skittles are making so many colours"

23.01.2022 Making bath bombs~ Sam saw my bath bomb stash and asked me about it so I told him that I have made them by myself. Sam said " Can I make one?" my answer was "Yeah let's do it" This activity was loved by all of the children today. Children loved adding and mixing all the ingredients and choosing their own colour, shapes and scents. Cienna made 2 heart shaped bath bombs for her mom and dad... This activity is great sensory and imaginative play. See more

To introduce science week this week we set up a simple Walking Water science experiment We discussed about how the water transfer through the paper towel and the children guessed if the colour would transfer or not? This activity helps children to develop decision making skills and form independent opinions. Aids literacy and language development and encourages enquiry and critical thinking.

17.01.2022 Happy Monday~New resources Kids love puzzles and role play. Puzzles helps and teach children to develop fine motor skils, social skills and concentration. Role playing builds confidence, creativity communication, physical development an problem solving.

16.01.2022 Yummy cookies Today we made a delicious choc chip cookies. Children were excited to make and decorate cookies. We were closely watching how the dough raises during baking. It was interesting to see the baking process.
