Say something like, "Why do you think Clifford did that?" * Infants * direct locate type questions where the answers can be directly found in the text.... * Primary * ask inferential type questions where children need to look for evidence to support their answers e.g. did the story take place in the morning or at night? How do you know? If you dont have a dice with sleeves to insert the questions, improvise! Sticky tape the questions to any cube you can find around the house! A tupperware container will even work!
