23.01.2022 All VCE year 11 and 12 students need to meet at SLC entrance 8.30 am to have temperature taken. SLC WILL NOT be open prior to this time. VCAL students must go directly to their classroom. Year 10 students need to meet at their lockers at 8.30 am- lockers WILL NOT be open before this. Any students arriving late or after period 1, MUST go to the front office FIRST. Year 7 Performing Arts students have been exploring the history of masks in performance this term with our Student Teacher Ms Hayes and have concluded their unit by making their own masks depicting characters they have created. These runners will now go through to the Southern Metropolitan Regional Event on the 21st of June to be held at Cruden Farm. 08.01.2022 What is the next best to a real life farm excursion? A virtual incursion of course! A range of classes participated in a farm visit this week, some of the students joined by intrigued parents and siblings. We found out why Wallace the ram is the only one not doing any work on Jacintas Greedy Guts Farm, learnt from Sophie and Indra from Torello Farm about part time jobs and work experience opportunities, got immersed in the world of wheat and grain by Jason from Tuerong Farm and joined Jillian from Gippslamb sheep farm for the birth of a lamb. The event runs from June 1st-25th, where it raises money for better mental health. Our school fundraising goal is $5000. The event promotes the completion of 3,318 push-ups, one push-up for every death by suicide in Australia, 2020. We encourage you all to participate, as all funds raised go to the Push For ...Better Foundation, which raises awareness for the importance of both physical and mental health. Signing up is free, and we ask that you request your parent/guardian’s permission before doing so. We hope that this event allows you all to stay motivated and promotes your wellbeing, despite lockdown. You will be allocated to your House upon signing up, where you will receive one House point for every push-up. This event relies on honesty, so please log push-ups only as you complete them.
