A range of classes participated in a farm visit this week, some of the students joined by intrigued parents and siblings. We found out why Wallace the ram is the only one not doing any work on Jacintas Greedy Guts Farm, learnt from Sophie and Indra from Torello Farm about part time jobs and work experience opportunities, got immersed in the world of wheat and grain by Jason from Tuerong Farm and joined Jillian from Gippslamb sheep farm for the birth of a lamb. The event runs from June 1st-25th, where it raises money for better mental health. Our school fundraising goal is $5000. The event promotes the completion of 3,318 push-ups, one push-up for every death by suicide in Australia, 2020. We encourage you all to participate, as all funds raised go to the Push For ...Better Foundation, which raises awareness for the importance of both physical and mental health. Signing up is free, and we ask that you request your parent/guardian’s permission before doing so. We hope that this event allows you all to stay motivated and promotes your wellbeing, despite lockdown.
