13.01.2022 Today's Little Birdy is the Scarlet Honeyeater. At only 9-11cm long he is the smallest of the Australian Honeyeaters. The Gippsland region is the bottom of its range down the East coast of Australia - and given the numbers we are all seeing here this year we do wonder if the bushfires up the coast have affected their feeding and breeding.
