25.01.2022 What more could a girl ask for........ Dallo (squid)curry, beans thel dhala (chilli fry up) and rice and for dessert its a chocolate brownie! I think I have died and gone to heaven!

Maybe just curry rolls or Mas/ Malu Paan or Bacon and Egg rolls to have in the freezer to serve with drinks when your visitors drop in or to take away with you on holiday! Head over now and have a look www.littlecolombo.com.au Bookings have opened now for Christmas Parties and yummy Christmas goodies to put in your Christmas stocking. Two special cakes for Christmas! Sri Lankan Christmas cake and Love cake (not on the menu yet but ready for Christmas) Both these cakes are Gluten Free. ... Love cake is a rich and gooey cake packed with exotic flavors fusing lemon, honey, nutmeg, cinnamon cashews and rose water. This cake is buttery and moist. All other cakes are also available for your Christmas table. Looking for a gift for your bestie, we do bottles of Muscat Fruit, perfect with a bowl of Ice Cream! They will love you for it! Figs, Apricots, Pears and Raisins poached in Port and soaked in jars. This is a very grown up dessert, not for the faint hearted! More delights to come over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

08.01.2022 Little Colombo is baking up some traditional Sri Lankan Christmas cake and Date cake. If you are looking for something different why not try one of our tall cakes. Chocolate and Orange cake with Cardamon and Pistachio icing, covered in chocolate buttercream with chocolate ganache and praline snaps. Lime and Coconut cake with Lemon Curd, Cream, Mascarpone and raspberries, covered in a cream Cheese frosting! Please PM me if you would like to order a cake. 07.01.2022 Roasted pumpkin, sweet potato, almonds and eggplant with quinoa, rocket, asparagus and feta cheese dressed in caramelised ginger balsamic. An easy dinner on a busy day! P.s. It's healthy, so why not feel great too!

07.01.2022 The little Colombo kitchen is in overdrive! The fruit mixtures are soaking up the spices and alcohol in transit to the mixing bowl! The smell of Christmas is in the air! Orders for cakes for Christmas are closing at the end of this week. On offer 1. Sri Lankan Christmas cake. This is my grandmothers recipe, and is a fruit cake with cashew nuts, fruit and almonds soaked in brandy and made with a mix of spices! There is no flour used in this cake. 2. Love cake, made from egg...s with an overload of cashews and the beautiful aroma and flavor of rose water. It is best eaten a little gooey, and is very moorish with a late night glass of port! There is no flour used in this cake. 3. Date cake. A lush cake of dates and cashew nuts wrapped in butter cream icing dotted with almonds. This cake is not Gluten free. There is also our Lemon delicious cake with raspberries and lemon curd, perfect for the hot summer Christmas lunch. I have just restocked our Muscat poached fruit, ready to drizzle over some vanilla ice cream, an easy dessert to serve after a big Christmas lunch. If you are looking to stock the freezer for the season, Lamprise is also cooking for Christmas. These keep well in the freezer for that night you just don't feel like cooking.
