11.01.2022 Excuse the not such a great photo. Today's lunch is a favorite of Tuesdays children...macaroni cheese (with hidden veggies). Shh, we don't say the last part. The children love it but what they don't know is that there is pureed garlic, onion, grated zucchini and pumpkin Tastes so good and so good for you

10.01.2022 An invitation for the children to create. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

10.01.2022 An activity for today came from a beautiful spontaneous experience this morning with a child and their letterbox. We made a very quick letterbox from an empty tissue box, added a few writing resources and have had a really open ended experience. The children have loved writing letters to their friends and family. To extend on this we will add alphabet recognition signs, scissors, look at our postal system and practice writing our own names (for any child that is interested)

10.01.2022 We just love how these blow painted peacocks came out. The Pinterested Parent So pretty and such a fun way to paint. http://thepinterestedparent.com//straw-blown-peacock-pain/

10.01.2022 Lately the children have been having so much fun outdoors, watching out veggies grow and collecting eggs from our chickens

07.01.2022 Can't wait to make these with the children in the January school holidays

06.01.2022 I saw this shared in a teacher group I belong to. Wouldn't it be perfect for the library? STEM activity: Read the book, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs.... Do a story map. Then give your students popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, tape, glue, newspapers, and any other materials you'd like and challenge them to build a house that the wolf can't blow away. The hairdryer becomes the wolf!! See more

05.01.2022 Another one saving for school holidays

04.01.2022 I'm so excited about our excursion today. We are off to a community lunch at Karadi Aboriginal community centre. We have been discussing expectations and 'resturant' etiquette. And modeling our emerging skills. The children have been talking about previous experience. Master F tells me he's hoping to order a banana on a plate

04.01.2022 The children have loved watching this clip this morning. What a transformation after only 30 hours. So beautiful to share this with the day care children

02.01.2022 Because it's book week...and because EVERYONE loves glitter...we have freshly made glittery playdough. We just read this book and the children want to make unicorns My special surprise it that there is a very small amount of green colouring inside so as they mould the playdough it will turn green. Looking forward to their smiles

02.01.2022 This week some of our children have taken a huge interest in some magazines I was given. This has lead to great scissor skills practice and so many conversations around our environment and how we can look after it.

01.01.2022 What a cool school holiday art project
