Keep the bag in your car, pop your mask inside once you have finished using it for your outing and chuck the whole lot in the wash, how easy is that! This reduces your contact with potential germs and is a great way to form a good hygiene habit as it will assist in remembering which mask is in need of a wash Multiple colours in stock as pictured however we only have a limited qty with only 1 of each available so first in best dressed. At this point in time we have decided to close again, at least until we see case numbers start to come down. We will be sure to let you know once this happens. However we can most definitely meet you in store by appointment if you need to pop in *please note a mask will be required upon entry as per sta...te laws. 04.01.2022 So...good news and some not so good news. Firstly the not so good news so we can end on a happy note. I wont be able to open the shop this weekend as my husband is having some major surgery in Melbourne on Saturday. Ill need to drive him down first light Saturday and pick him up Sunday sometime. Then rest and recovery for four to six weeks. Im hoping I can open again the following weekend of the 19th and 20th. Just have to see how he pulls up over the week. 01.01.2022 During the East Gippsland fires last year I was told it might look like I was cashing in on them while working in my gift shop in Rosedale when, in actual fact, I was doing the opposite. I was volunteering all of my time and small shop space to store the thousands of items people dropped off to help the wildlife and animals. Our shop was a hub with donations of hundreds of handmade kangaroo and possum pouches, knitted bird nests, sewn bat wraps, pet food, dog and cat equipmen...t, medical supplies, baby wipes and other goods too numerous to mention here. We made sure it was being distributed to those who needed them urgently. My daughter, Kylie Brand, instigated the initial contacts needed and then we both worked tirelessly documenting, sorting and storing all the diverse donations. Our shop was also a haven for those emotionally stressed women who needed a break, no matter how short, from the horrendous visions they had witnessed. They would wander through our shop inhaling the sweet scented candles while drinking in the soft, gentle music trying to forget what they had to go back to. More often than not I was the one they opened up to, telling me about their tear evoking experiences. I hope I was of some help in relieving the stress. It is very humbling to be acknowledged for the work we did and I’m very proud to accept this Australia Day Citizen of the Year Award. Thank you
