25.01.2022 So many challenges this year for Victorian Business Owners and so many things to consider for how we can all keep our livelihoods afloat. Re-entering the workforce (as a casual or full term basis), creating a new business service(s), even creating a new business - this year has brought about so many things to consider for so many! The resilience of so many people I know and admire has been amazing. I also recognize the impact this year has had on so many of us mentally and em...otionally, it has been beyond what anyone could ever imagine! Please be kind, we all know the frustrations are high, but please, please, please - remember to be kind. We are all working through this with unknown plans for a way out! Are we, aren’t we? We like you await the news that finally says - YES YOU MAY OPEN!... We can’t wait to be able to confirm bookings to fill that diary and start the real discussions. We have fought so hard to ensure we have not fallen in 2020. We need an announcement not just that Private group gatherings at a public venue indoors is allowed once again, but we need the guidelines to also state the numbers match a private groups needs - let’s face it 20 people just won’t cut it! And then there is the Qu’s of can we, can’t we - what is it we can do as a group? Can we eat how we want? (dessert buffet for me pleeeease) - can we mingle while unmasked? kiss and hug for others? 02.01.2022 I actually loved my dolls house as a kid, my dad made it and we kept it long after I finished as it was soooo special. When my mini was old enough he re-fashioned it to be a modern take on the original and she loved it the same as I all those years later! But this, this cake right here I can’t even deal with how good and how big this is! Would you want to cut it? Did you have/love your doll house? No group larger than 20 persons, so even if the density quota of 1 person to 4 sqMt allows for 100 persons total in a venue - the maximum anyone group can be is 20! Sucks Right! We know.
