20.01.2022 While in a 4th grade classroom today I noticed these contraptions on students' desks. I watched the students calmly & quietly reading as their feet bounced away..., releasing energy that could have been a distraction without these bands. I was so intrigued by this simple concept & its positive effect, that I asked the teacher more about them. She shared that she had done research & felt these could be an asset to her students. It turned out she was right! In a short time she has already seen the positive effects in her classroom. She was able to purchase these for every student in her class through a public school teacher funding website. It's this creative, outside the box thinking & dedication that makes us so proud of our teachers. #keepupthegoodwork #nevergiveup ***When I posted this I never anticipated this response. One of the girls, a 13-year-old, was last seen at an address on Gregory Avenue, Deception Bay, at 9.30am on January 7. She was wearing a black Nike T-shirt and pyjama bottoms. She is described as Caucasian in appearance, 150cm tall with long black hair and blue eyes. A second girl, a 12-year-old, was last seen at about 2.30pm on January 10 at an address on Mackie Road, Narangba. She was last seen wearing a black singlet and shorts.
