25.01.2022 Afternoon treat.....
24.01.2022 Happy 5th Birthday Mr W, we were all so excited to celebrate today. Your friends that don’t attend today are also so interested to find out what you got and will celebrate later in the week!
23.01.2022 I know of one really really excited little girl who’s not so little anymore, turning five today! Happy Birthday Miss H and as requested we will be having a water play day and dance party experiences!!
23.01.2022 How excited were we all to visit Jacobs Well, feet in the water, build a sandcastle, watch small crabs run ahead of us and hearing children question what they were observing. The water was actually quite warmer than I expected and children wanted to walk or watch small waves from boats come in. Thanks Mark for attending for extra safety but children followed the rules that we set the entire morning. I could see the boys make a small running chat then they’d come and help aga...in with the sandcastle, especially adding a pool lol We then walked to the toilet block to freshen up before visiting the park and had some snacks at the picnic table. Children continue to gain confidence by trying new things and further develop coordination skills and cooperate with others. Some tried the pole to slide down for the first time. Proud of all the children’s efforts today to make it such an enjoyable learning excursion. 1.1 Children feel safe, secure, and supported -establish and maintain respectful, trusting relationships with other children and educators. -openly express their feelings and ideas in their interactions with others. -respond to ideas and suggestions from others. 3.1 Children become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing. -seek out and accept new challenges, make new discoveries, and celebrate their own efforts and achievements and those of others. -increasingly co-operate and work collaboratively with others.

17.01.2022 Lest we Forget x
16.01.2022 Hi everyone I’ve been working hard on booking venues that we are allowed to attend during our longer vacation care period. These venues have covid safe plans in place and have been operating under the regulations for most of the second part of this year. I’m very proud to support local small businesses and look forward to catching up with staff that we probably haven’t seen for a year or more!! Also a friendly reminder that school term now finishes on Wednesday 9th December 2...020! Here is our planned December schedule: Thursday 10th- Science Day Children will be able to continue learning using their trial and error skills with different experiments! Friday 11th- day at the beach Jacobs Well has been a place we’ve started to visit in our local area. Open space, sensory and sand play as well as lunch at the park under shaded areas. Monday 14th- King Tutts Putt Putt Around of golf or two depending on timing and children’s needs. Great way to develop hand and eye coordination skills and have fun moments with our friends! Tuesday 15th - Syd Duncan Park Children’s choice of park. Tunnels, gardens, playground and . Lunch before heading home. Wednesday 16th- Xmas craft Resources will be available for children to make anything from decorations to gifts for parents to take home. Let’s see what styles they would like to revisit or even find something new to try to create a masterpiece! Wednesday 30th- Sushi Break The children and I will head out for an early lunch should it be busy we will take away as we cannot book a table here. Children love diversity and trying foods from other countries. Thursday 31st- New Years Eve party Dressup or dress down it’s party day here, feel free to bring a costume from home or use ours here! Disco fun, maybe even make up a new dance!!
14.01.2022 The children have all been learning so much about space this, questioning why they are named, their colouring and attributes about size and location from the sun and closest to Earth! We completed our galaxy poster and have now begun our glow planets and stars to put up, can’t wait to see how they look when the room is darkened! Continuing on our learning journey with children’s interest in exploring drawings and art, children are becoming confident in telling a short story about their own unique picture or craft of choice. This introduced a child initiated game (their version) of Pictionary!!
10.01.2022 End of the week..... what a great day I’m sure we will have!!
08.01.2022 Thanks again Dianne for allowing us onto your property. The children were all so excited to see how much the hatched chickens had grown and to see how well they are going. Children were able to help out with feeding, cleaning some of the cages out and have a hold. As well has play with Mr K. We saw the ducks as well and how many eggs inside pens.
06.01.2022 The children and I in the past have been so keen to learn from science. Today I want to say how much the children were involved in their own learning, inquiry and investigating by using trial and error skills. We had a discussion about why some work and some may not!! Their faces in most pics are priceless and I want them to come home and share with you all what they enjoyed most about today! We learnt that while exploring how to make a lava lamp that there are two different densities. Oil and water stayed separate as water holds more molecules and is heavier than the oil. The alkaslezer tablets fizzed upas it is made from acid and other bases causing more bubbles!
03.01.2022 Just going to let our captured moments tell our story today!

01.01.2022 Craft day- children started with creating a face of choice, can anyone guess who or what they are??
01.01.2022 Head lice We all know how easy it is for headlice to become out of control. There is no exclusion but treatment must be started before or care or if requested to pick up children can return the same day if immediate steps have been put in place. There are so many different fact sheets on head lice, I’ve attached one for families to read at their own leisure.... Thx Sharon https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/head-lice
