22.01.2022 My lovely group of girls have found so much joy role playing hairdressers and doing makeup and nails lately that we jumped at the chance to visit a real hair salon! Our little friend Miss F. hooked us up with her Aunty Chantal from Chantal Ann Hairstylist and we had a wonderful morning of pampering. Chantal and her mum treated the girls to new hairstyles and mani- pedis and a scrumptious morning tea and goody bag. Miss R is already planning her return to the salon and myself and all the mummas thank Chantal and Julie for a special outing for our little superstars.

15.01.2022 A big shout out to our friend and local musician/ childrens author Matthew Barker who kindly donated us a copy of his debut book My parents bought a caravan It seemed a fitting book for our Australia Day theme as lots of us are heading away for the long weekend in our caravans. We all enjoyed the tale of family adventures living life on the road through the eyes of 5 year old Harrison. My little mates loved the drawings of Australian animals featured on every page and the mention of places they had also visited. A great story for any Aussie kid that loves adventure (despite the mishaps along the way!)
