20.01.2022 The preschoolers have been enthusiastically exploring and learning new skills through our science project here at Point Clare Little Miracles. Our recent experiments included chemical reactions, hypothesising, trial and error, discussions, mathematics and observations. Throughout this project we have been able to foster the children’s interest in learning experiences, communication skills, mathematic concepts, cognitive development and confidence in shared discussions throughout the project. The children’s enthusiasm and collaborative learning has lead this project and the direction of planning for the children’s spontaneous, planned and gathered learning experiences.

17.01.2022 The children in the Radiant Rainbows Room at Niagara Park meet our friendly Chicken named Bok Bok! We made a mind map yesterday to discuss what we should name our new chicken and the children decided Bok Bok was the name for our new friendly pet! We love giving the children powerful choices where they can communicate verbally with one another.

16.01.2022 Today the Amazing Asteroids at Terrigal enjoyed exploring the outdoors and looking for bugs. We found a sicada, ant and lady bug.

15.01.2022 WHO IS YOUR HERO? McHappy Day is a tradition where McDonald's donates $1 from the sale of every Big Mac, hot McCafe beverage, and Happy Meal to Ronald McDonald House Charities, along with other children's charities. In addition, McDonald's crews organize fundraising activities including raffles, contests, and auctions. Today our Little Miracles girls at Terrigal dressed up to raise awareness for this cause.

03.01.2022 AA Silver Tuggerah have been learning all about mammals! We love hearing the knowledge the children learn from our interest projects in our room. Did you know whales are a mammal?!

02.01.2022 Today the Radiant Rainbows at Niagara Park ventured down to our new farm to visit our pet chickens and bunnies! the children were able to demonstrate their empathy and respect for the animals as they gently pat and communicated with our new friends. What a wonderful time we had together at the farm, we can’t wait visit our farm again!
