25.01.2022 I am very pleased to announce our club has obtained a new sponsor - Aussie Home Loans Ashfield. Aussie will make a donation to the club of $250 for every settled/refinanced home loan from someone who mentions the cricket club. If the loan is above $500,000 in value the donation will be $500. Aussie will also be donating new playing shirts to all three grades! I encourage all players to get out there and promote Aussie to family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances considering a loan.

25.01.2022 As you may be aware each year the club holds a social match on turf contested between two sides drawn from players across all grades. Two players from one grade will have the chance to captain their side to victory. The Challenge Shield for 2017 will be held on Sunday February 12 at Blick Oval, Canterbury. The match will be a 50-over a side match played over two 25 over halves. This means that at lunch both teams will have batted 25 overs. ... Captains for the two teams this year will be drawn from second division. All fully paid-up club members are eligible to play. The only other condition for eligibility is that you must confirm your availability to be at the ground for the whole day - that is, from 9:30am onwards. If you are interested in playing please notify your team captain. Where: Blick Oval, Canterbury When: Sunday 12th February Hours Of Play: 10:00am to 5:30pm (BE THERE AT 9:30am) Food and Drink: Lunch and drinks will be provided.

17.01.2022 Please head to Mackey Park Saturday/Sunday to support our First Grade side in their Semi Final against Croydon Park. Thursday training at Johnson Park will continue throughout the semi-final period, primarily for the benefit of the 1st graders, but all members are welcome and encouraged to attend. The match starts at 10am so please ensure that you are at the ground no later than 9.30am. Lunch will be provided by the club. Please make sure you wear your SHSCC shirts proudly. 09.01.2022 Guys the association have cancelled all games for tomorrow including ours. Many other associations have done the same thing including Sydney grade cricket and shires. All matches will be deemed a draw except those that already have a result. Challenge shield is still on for Sunday.
