25.01.2022 Thank you to everybody for your support with the announcement of our first test menu last week We are excited to bring you our second test menu for this weekend. It will also be a fundraising night as we still find our way around the new kitchen, however this time for the Lighthouse Foundation who aim to end youth homelessness, and transform the lives of young people. They provide a home, a sense of family, and around-the-clock therapeutic care for homeless young people fr...om backgrounds of long-term neglect and abuse. With this in mind, this week's menu has been inspired by our teens [and for some of us memories of when we were ]. It's fun and simple with a L.R little twist. It's a menu designed to be accompanied by good beers and mates in the sun [so imagination may play an important part when it comes to this part... ] Some newbies to check out this week include 'hey hot stuff', oh and there's also a new pizza by the same name , lamb ragout, wonton nachos which you just have to try to understand it [hint: the nachos are made out of wonton pastry] and a drank as snitzel. Crittenden Estate Wines have also hoped onboard to support us, and Lighthouse Foundation with $21 bottles of their Prosecco, their Geppetto Shiraz, Pinot Noir and their 2018 Pinocchio Sangiovese which you can add to your order We will be taking orders again for this Friday and Saturday night. 22.01.2022 We want to introduce you to something different. We want you to explore the different flavours, and taste local. Everything from our drinks to our produce is sourced locally. And that is on show this week (more so than what it is usually).... We’re taking it up a notch, and pushing the boundaries of our food and their flavours. This menu is available from 5pm on this Wednesday through to this Sunday night. So get it whilst you can as only the best of the best from all of our last menus will be making the cut for (what we hope to be) our permanent menu from next week. 20.01.2022 Ahhhhh, the 2018 Pinocchio Sangiovese. Crittenden Estate Wines, she’s an absolute beaut! This beautiful red wine has been produced with King Valley grapes, then was hand pumped, spent an extra 20 days with their skins on and then pressed to a mixture of three and four year old barrels. The older oak barrels allows the natural structure and savouriness of this wine to stay in tact. It spent 18 months calling these oak barrels their home, before it was filtered and bottled re...ady for you to enjoy with your dinner this Friday and Saturday night (see what we did there ). Not sure what this process means? We'll give you a hint: it means it's good haha This process has allowed it to develop a taste of savouriness followed by bitter (morello) cherries, with a long, tart finish and a refreshing spine of acidity and firm dry tannins. A flavour that just happens to go spectacularly with a Margarita pizza (we’re looking at you old mate marg) or our lamb ragout. You can add this beautiful bottle of wine to your order for $21 this weekend in support of the Lighthouse Foundation and their aim to end youth homelessness. 17.01.2022 We are super excited to be coming into your homes for family dinner night and date night this weekend! (Not in the creepy stalker way). In the way that we have got you SOR-TED! From food, to conversation to entertainment.... That’s right. We’re upping our game this week. We know things are getting boring and everything’s starting to become tedious and all the same, so we’re here to shake things up for you. [We’ll leave the spicing of things up to you ]. We have two packages available this Friday and Saturday night. One for our lovers , and one for the results of [if ya know what we mean - families if you don’t] Check out the below images for your food. 13.01.2022 Our week 3 test menu is OUT! And for our last week of test menus we have decided to donate half of everything we bring in on the weekend from food, and from our Gippsland Jersey $4 kids milkshakes to The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. The work they do is seriously amazing, and we hope that what we can contribute will help even at least one family make this difficult time that little bit easier.... We are a family run business, with two girls of our own (5 and 1) and it just breaks our hearts hearing some of the stories. This fundraising weekend is the least we can do for these families, and to support the awesome ongoing work of the The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. So, to try and pass a few more $$ over to them, we have arranged an extra special surprise for you this weekend. IT’S TIME TO BRUNCH! (Well in the Covid safe take-away style). You will be able to come down on Saturday and Sunday and get your brunch fix (because brunch really brings the best of breakfast and lunch together). Available from 8am along with all of your regular coffee orders. Dinner orders will also be available again for this Friday and Saturday night. You have survived all 34 months of 2020 (I mean - thats what it felt like didn’t it), the great toilet paper shortage of 2020 which will go down in our history, watched every movie on netflix, and worn trackies to work more days that you ever though possible [#thankyouZoom]. It’s time to say goodbye to 2020 (or a not so PG version f*ck off 2020’, or even more accurately ‘a thank f*ck that’s over’). So as our first new years here, we have put together two s...uper special menu’s [for some super special people who have supported us in what has been an *extremely* hard year to try and open a bar - yeah, we’re crazy, but that’s nothing new from us is it?] Our two packages have the following set up. 11.01.2022 We are excited and proud to announce that for our last week of test menus this weekend we will be donating half of everything we bring in from our meals to The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. The work they do is absolutely amazing for not only the children, but the support they also provide for the families as well. A cause close to our heart with our own little family, we empathise with those that do have to go through that, and we are happy to try and provide some... small amount to help them do the work that they do. Gippsland Jersey have also jumped on board to support The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne this week to enable us to offer $4 kids milkshakes made with their amazing real milk from local farmers. With this stuff you can seriously taste the difference. So bring the kids down this weekend, grab and coffee and a milkshake for a good cause (and maybe even a bite to eat for brunch ). Stay tuned as we release our menu tomorrow for this weekend, and we may have a little surprise in store for you too!

11.01.2022 Rollin into the week with a new menu to kick off on Wednesday. Because we love tasting a lil of this, and a lil of that. This week we have listed our wine recommendations for each and every dish. Purposefully designed for their flavours, weights and aromas. ... So we *seriously* recommend adding the wine pairing to your meal. Because if we're talkin bout upping the anti when it comes to not just dinner, but an experience? Well then that's sure the way to do it. Everything on this menu has been sourced from suppliers from Mt.Dandenong to Flinders. Come down and try the local stuff out for yourself. Because we seriously invest in the awesome local guys here, and the awesome stuff they produce, and then cook up an *absolute* storm with it, and we like to think we do it justice. 10.01.2022 Welcome to a new week, and welcome to a new menu.! So we’re sure you’re getting used to us changing our menu around quite a bit. Some of you may be loving it, some not so much.... Our menu changes so frequently because all of our produce is fresh and local, which means sometimes there’s shortages on particular ingredients, or they’re just not in season. So that means our menu has to change. We are also all about wanting to introduce you to some foods that you maybe haven’t tried before. That’s also why we choose to go with a tapas style menu. Because we want you to taste and experience something new and a little different. So we thought we would compromise. This new menu here? Well she’ll be around for 2 week (I mean it’s a compromise, but we never said we were that good at it though haha). It’s a bigger menu so hopefully you can find something you love, as well as something new to try (and then love immediately after). We are open from 5pm on Wednesday for dinner, and then from 8am Thursday we are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner until Sunday to keep you well fed. 05.01.2022 2021. We’re coming for you.. with a BUNCH of new menus. We’re talkin not only our dinner menu (which you can check out below), but also our brunch menu, schnacks menu and our Tuesday cheap eats menu. Yeah. We’ve been pretty busy.And you may be able to get a little sneak peak at some of those in the comments below, but you didn’t hear that from us ... We can’t wait for you to try out some of these new dishes, and let us know what your favs are!

03.01.2022 So last month we had our first wine and dine night. We were equal parts excited, nervous and anxious. It was something new that we were trying. And when it comes to introducing something new, you honestly can never tell how they will go. That’s why we asked you guys first, and we were *stoked* that you guys seemed keen.... In the end we didn’t get quite the numbers we we’re looking for, but we went ahead with it, and man was it a good night. [Okay, yes. We may sound super biased, but we had a great time]. We set it up in one big long table, family style. Because that’s who we are here. We got to meet and talk to new people [and after last year talking to nobody except a screen, was an *ab-so-lute* breath of fresh air]. We had Crittenden Estate Wines come down and talk to us through a bunch of their wines, and just why they’ve been paired with the dishes they have. I guess this is us trying to step it up a notch. We have our casual Tuesday menu, and our wine and dine night is intended to be the exact opposite. Fun, cruzey atmosphere with some pretty rad people, drinking glasses of wine and plates of food. And we weren’t joking when we said that they go together. Honestly. Think match made in heaven (or in Little Ratoons haha). And we finished the night with casual convos over the bar with beers and cocktails. We had a great time, but that’s not achieving much unless we can share it with you guys. We’re not ready to throw in the towel with this night yet, and are giving it another go with another local winery on the books to come down and join us on Wednesday April 14th. 02.01.2022 Exciting news yesterday!!! So our capacity has now been increased, and will again (to 100+) from Nov 22.... So it's time to book in for your function! Our upstairs mezzanine level is awesome for your Christmas party, or you could even have our outside area (which is awesomeeee in summer afternoons, even if we do say so ourselves). Or you could even have the whole damn place if you have enough friends to fill it (and if you do - we're jealous and want in). From sit down meals to tasters, to house beer and wine to cocktails. If you haven’t yet realised, we love a good feed with great drinks, and damn to the Greek do it well So we’re taking inspiration and serving you up a bunch of *awesome* mezzes, so you get to try a few yummy things, and maybe a few new things too ... These aren’t just a bunch of appetisers, this is a wholeeee different eating experience. Paired with some great wine, beer and spirits (which we just so happen to have), then you know you’re going to be in for a good night! So get your bookings in for to try out this menu this week! Open from 8am tomorrow, through to Sunday night for lunch, afternoon schnacks and dinner. Coffee although? 01.01.2022 YOU'RE INVITED TO OUT STREET PARTY!! We are *so* pumped to be able to finally open our doors to you guys, and welcome you in with a big bear hug (well not literally because you know #covid). Buttttt. Now that we can open up (although mainly outside) we have decided that what better way to celebrate being able to catch up with friends and family again, than to Host a street party?... So our menu this week is going to represent this, in that our plates are going to be tapas style and share plates, because sharing’s caring right? We will be opening up from 12pm this Friday until late. Saturday and Sunday on the other hand? Well they’ll be in full swing as we’ll open the doors from 8am for all of your coffee and brunch needs, and travel right on through lunch to dinner. And the fact that it’s a long weekend? Well you can be sure we’ll be keeping the party going! Unfortunately as you would be know we’re limited in numbers of capacity, so bookings are a must! Please call us on 9702 6009 to book. And we also just wanted to say a big thank you to everybody that supported us during the takeaway period, which isn’t exactly easy (especially for a place that we hope will thrive off of the atmosphere).
