19.01.2022 I adore this beautiful being. She is brave. She takes risks and makes sure to celebrate herself, especially once she’s worked through and explored any challenge that comes her way. When she paints intuitively she understands that the marks that are being created are like scars but now they are beautiful. I’m so grateful to know this beauty alongside all of my other clients who bring so much courage, wisdom and magic to my world.

15.01.2022 To all the parents doing your absolute best right now to keep your children remaining positive during this tricky time. As an Art Therapist, many of my clients have expressed their distress and uneasiness when it comes to all of the new rules and regulations. I’ve made it my mission to take my practice and transform it into into something digital. It seems so many of us are trialling new ways of sharing our work online - we almost have been forced to. This is extremely new fo...r me but the most important thing for me is being able to share my time and presence with children who are looking for a calm space. My program offers children the opportunity to have a creative outlet and begin thinking about themselves in a new light. I am still working out the mechanics of it all but my online classes have been homemade with love and warmth. My goal is to have your child feel as if they are right there with me in my therapeutic space. I know a lot of children are struggling due to the fact that they are unable to connect to others during this time. This is one of the reasons why I have created a course that will ultimately give them the tools to connect them to themselves instead. 14.01.2022 Hey everyone! I wanted to share some information about a therapeutic process that I love to use in order to express myself. Intuitive painting helps me process my inner world, express my heart and soul and allows me to create without needing to know what is going to emerge onto the canvas. Painting in this way offers opportunity to completely surrender to trusting myself and the process. Painting in this way creates room for the mind to quiet down and for the heart to be hea...rd and held. It helps with trusting your instincts, moving through confusion and blockages and learning patience as the image reveals itself. I have always taught this concept to the children during their time here, however I am now looking to expand this process by giving these children a completely new experience. It makes such a difference being able to paint on a large scale - it offers so much freedom and space to be totally submerged by all of the colours and all of the magic that is just waiting to be released, seen and felt. 08.01.2022 Intuitive painting creates room to let go, explore and detach from any previous constriction. Today I had a visit from a beautiful and extremely talented client of mine who has been coming to my space for a quite a while in order to let her inner artist shine! Her work is so expressive and it also continues to offer so much wisdom. While she was painting, we faced a few crossroads. Her mind wanted to hold onto the markings she had painted onto her canvas, but her heart and ...body wanted to keep expanding on it. It made us think about what to listen to more- the head or the heart? The mind was more inclined to keep the painting in a stagnant position, while the heart wanted to allow this painting to keep moving and growing. We decided that maybe it is learning to create balance within the mind and the heart - needing there to be a mix of both in order to create a decision or next course of action. There was also a sense of attachment to each layer- however, just as there was attachment there was also insight and understanding into how each layer was just as loved as the next. There was no "right" layer to stop at because we learnt that the image can always be re created again and again. This made it easier to let go of what once was. Every stage can be just as special and as beautiful as the one you once perceived to be the best. So much pink, so much love, so much authentic self expression - so grateful to get to watch incredible art unfold. Even if the canvas has to go through questioning, doubting, ups, downs and all that is in between- we always come back to the truth of what is in front of us and what needs to be expressed and created. Listen to her words of wisdom "I am layer 1 and I am here to tell you that when your thoughts are dark, there is always...and I mean always a little bit of light in your darkness. You just have to try and find it. To begin, I wanted it to be all dark, but the I decided that whoever looks at this painting can decide what the colour shining through is all about. May...be you wish for possibility, magic, hope, gratefulness, happiness and love. This layer reminds me that when I have negative thoughts, turn the volume down like a radio. If I enjoy my good thoughts, turn it up!" How amazing!! Shining light to all x
