14.01.2022 Good Afternoon Everyone, From my Little Slice of Sanctuary, I hope this post finds you well and in good spirits. It’s that festive time of year again, holidays, gifts, dinner table full of various expensive foods, high expectations, stress levels raising and lots of strain between couples. ... Why do we feel the need to live up to expectations of others and compete with the Jones’s next door? Why do people have to brag about how big their tree is and post on Facebook My lounge room is FULL of presents and this is just the start!. Christmas is about sharing and spending time with loved ones, not a competition, so why has society (People) made it out to be a popularity contest? I for one, love humble pride and keeping it real. There are many people who are worse off than ever before, 2020 has been a right struggle for many people and families so please keep this in mind. Don’t feel alone this season, if you need someone to help with clarity reach out and connect. I’m merely an appointment away day or night. 12.01.2022 I have learned a great lesson over this past week: - ‘One never has to suffer in silence or alone when surrounded by a loving family and true friends who reach out to you not the other way around They just know when there is something wrong!’ I had an horrendous debilitating flair up of my immune diseases this last week and had to wait to get into see my Dr for pain release patches and to up my antidepressant dosage as I don’t do that by will. Soon as I feel chronic pain, ...depression is not far behind as the pain debilitates me to the point I cry day and night without able to walk, go out doors or even out of bed. Without expectation or asking, the support received from my network has been overwhelming, I really could not make it through without this support, including medication; I’m not a superhero! I greatly rely on pain release and antidepressants during these stages. But you know what? It’s okay! I don’t need to justify why I wear patches for pain or take antidepressants. Why? Because it’s what I have to do to get through this period to see the light at the end of the tunnel and know everything will be okay in the end! The reason I share so much is to ensure everyone out there knows they are not alone, there is always someone you can reach out to and no matter how bad it is today, there is always another day tomorrow so don’t ever give up! Support is a key factor within our daily life no matter who you are we all need it! Regardless of how big or how small something may seem, it is always easier when one feels safe and loved within that safety and support network. I too am your safety and support network, I am here to listen and care for you no matter how big or small and time of day, all you need to do is reach out I’ll be there. Today, I’d like to share something which has saddened and affected me greatly as a loyal community service operator and small business owner whom has nothing but good intentions and welfare of her clients in mind. ... It saddens me to say that of late; I have been approached by various people and groups asking: - Claire, why do you not charge full rate for Hypnotherapy / Counselling consultations and why do you provide a USB package for clients to use at home? Surely you are doing yourself out of money and for the USB; Why should your clients return when you provide them with a recording and package to work with at home? On many occasions I have also been advised, if my prices are lower than the going rate of other professionals, people will have little faith in my ability to provide and maintain quality services. A friend of mine stated: - Before he could sell his house the price had to increase, as when the cost was too low people thought there was something wrong, even though he just wanted to sell making small profits and keeping price range available for all to afford Obviously this method of service backfired resulting in increase of price prior to selling. The above feedback has really saddened me to the core! Therefore, I want to explain why my services and cost of services are the way they are in hope of you making your own choices rather than being led by deliberations of others: - As long as I can remember since being a little girl, all I can remember hearing is: Richness is health, without wealth you have nothing Claire, not even your health!. Oh my how this irritated me to the core!!! So for many years I’ve strived to remove this toxicity, studied hard for qualifications and found a way to provide mental health and wellbeing services for all to access. Only to have it thrown back in my face saying I’m not charging enough! So now I ask you this question: My services provide face to face or Skype consultations, USB - Hypnotherapy session designed around your individual needs and your choice of relaxation background music; Providing everyone the opportunity to carry out daily (24/7) hypnosis sessions within own private environment and at times convenient to you, increasing desired outcome. Consultations thereon are available purely around your needs, NOT weekly or fortnightly appointments for ongoing hypnosis rather than counselling and support as you obtain your very own recording.
