21.01.2022 This photo is one of my favourites Ross and I in the early years of our business towing our Miss Fisher mobile bar from Adelaide to Port Douglas for the events seasons. It’s great to look back through 7,000+ photos and reflect on the excitement of bringing a new bar service to Far North Queensland. ... We were privileged to make lovely friends and stay in the most incredible accommodation in Paradise. Guests found it hard to believe we would drive so far for our business. The SA number plates were their proof!! Meeting people from around the world and giving them a very different bar experience Fast forward to now and we feel just as excited seeing the reaction that our mobile bars bring to events. Amid the current changing environment it is super important to believe that nothing stays the same forever.. We will all get back to having amazing celebrations Keep the faith and we sincerely look forward to cheeky conversations, sharing wisdom and a whole lotta fun. XxKathy See more

17.01.2022 Living the dream Time to be creative! Today has started with emails and quotes to our wonderful clients. Whilst we patiently wait for all Covid restrictions to be removed, we have time to be creative for our sister business Elliott Caravan Co... So much inspiration in this image. With enquiries for builds that incorporate custom features, we are in the thick of designing and researching. This is when you feel the excitement of ‘light bulb’ moments, where solutions pop up as answers to questions.... That’s the fun of creating. Little moments of magic that take a dream to a reality.

16.01.2022 May 25th, 2014 and this was Miss Fisher’s very first gig at an Agriculture Field Day at Mildura, Victoria. She was invited to attend as part of a business showcase of start-ups. We received the invitation only one week before the event. With no internal electrics or plumbing completed and the external painting to be done, it was a race to get her finished in time for the 225klm road trip to Mildura. ... Our daughter Kaitlin flew down from the Gold Coast to help us stain the bars, paint the interior and create FB content for a soft launch of Miss Fisher. And what a star she was!! The first mobile bar for NW Victoria her vintage finish resonated with the crowds who snapped away on their phones. We didn’t manage to have the plumbing all connected so we installed the vintage tap and concealed the cupboard underneath with a black curtain! The final coat of paint dried as we drove the highway and the smell of the varnished reclaimed Oregon timber bars, were evidence that she had come straight out of the workshop! With crystal decanter lights, chandelier and crystal glassware Miss Fisher added a significant contrast of elegance to the big ass machinery and masculine vibe of a rural field day. Little did we know that her lights and styling would be so popular as to be duplicated in many other mobile bars around Australia. People were astonished to see she had a glasswasher befitting of a pub or restaurant. That glass washer has had thousands of glasses put through it and never missed a beat. It’s a godsend and I wouldn’t ever want to be without it! I wonder if the people who built Miss Fisher in the 1960’s would ever have realised the excitement that she has brought to hundreds of events. What a life changer she has been for us and we love her for the rich learnings she has given us and still is. XxKathy
