24.01.2022 "I have everything it takes to birth my baby" - I will forever be in total awe of how strong this Mumma was, birthing twin #2 just 6 minutes after sister was born, completely drug free! MIND BLOWING.

24.01.2022 2:30am: Eating whatever the closest vending machine has available in an attempt to stay awake during your sisters marathon labour Can confirm - Unsuccessful. What did the middle of the night/early morning look like for you during your labour? Feel free to share your photos and stories below!

24.01.2022 Gorgeous little Lexie is 12 days old today - born at just over 36 weeks she is doing so amazingly well! Congratulations Priscilla & Andrew, she is just the cutest

23.01.2022 Happy 1st Birthday Jaxon! *DISCLAIMER: Raw birth content - do not watch if you are easily offended. #birthisbeautiful

23.01.2022 PLACENTA LOVE All the necessary nutrition, oxygen, and life support from the mother's blood goes through the placenta and to the baby through blood vessels in the umbilical cord. Waste products and carbon dioxide from the baby are then sent back through the umbilical cord vessels and placenta to the mother's circulation to be eliminated. ... Is there anything more incredible than the magic of creating life

22.01.2022 JASPAH | 7 days little

22.01.2022 One for all the superhero fans out there Name: Millani Age: 8 days Weight: 2.6kgs... Superpower: SUPERCUTENESS. Also have superhuman ability to stay awake for long periods at night time lol. What is your babies super power?

22.01.2022 Absolutely overjoyed to have my birth work published in todays Courier Mail alongside 3 other photographers! "Only days ago Instagram and Facebook lifted a ban that has seen so many birth photographers have their accounts suspended and images reported. They are now finally allowing photographers to post uncensored birth images, giving us all an incredible glimpse into the mind-blowing strength of women, and the beyond fascinating journey of labour & childbirth. I hope that this development, plus articles like the one in the Courier Mail today, open up more people's eyes to the emotive and powerful storytelling that birth photography allows." - words from my dear friend Minna from Minna Burgess Photography - who is also featured in this article and who's birth I photographed and is published here.

20.01.2022 Another favourite from this week of beautiful little Jaspah

20.01.2022 Just as they will only take their first breathe once... they will only ever be this small once

19.01.2022 When you just can't decide how you're feeling The bottom right one kills me - he looks so chuffed with himself!

18.01.2022 "I love my body the way it is now, it grew two beautiful babies. I had shocking pregnancies, severe morning sickness the whole way through with both of them and horrible births but they are my babies! Im proud of what my body could do and recover from" - so much love to this incredibly beautiful and brave C-section Mum

17.01.2022 Today is the day - 13 years ago - that I became a Mother I was only 17 at the time and had an incredibly fast labour, only 2 hours from the time my waters broke until my main man was here. I don't have many photos from that night, the few that I do have though I love with all my heart! That night with my new baby was the happiest time of my life - and I think this is why I love doing what I do so much. Being able to capture that happiness for other people is the best thing in the world. HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY TO MY FIRST BORN - BRAYDON

17.01.2022 Tiny little Tanner was in for his photos today, such a cute little guy!

14.01.2022 How totally amazing is this rolly squishy face! If you had to use a word (or two or three) to describe childbirth, what would it be?

13.01.2022 Oh how sweet it is to be loved by you This little dear is going to be born into the arms of two of the most loving and devoted people. Miss Kylie has spent many many years caring for so many children (two of my girls included!) and now its her turn to be Mum. So excited for you guys and so happy I could capture this special time for you both.

11.01.2022 This little dear decided to surprise everyone Tuesday morning by arriving two weeks early! One of my favourite things about an early baby is all the vernix Did your baby arrive early, on time, or late? Let us know in the comments! Welcome to the world Millani! 09/10/2018 Congratulations Kylie and Rob

11.01.2022 If you have ever wondered what a 10lb baby looks like.... I still cannot wrap my head around the size of him haha TOO CUTE FOR WORDS. Fletcher was born yesterday at 10:28am after only a few hours of induced labour (with gas as her only pain relief ) at 41+1weeks, and weighed a whopping 4.58kg which actually converts to 10lb 1oz!!! Welcome to the world Fletcher - and Congratulations Laura, Steve and Armani

11.01.2022 I could have cuddled this little squish all day! Beautiful little Scarlett

11.01.2022 This baby wanted to fight me, for real That face though... too cute!

10.01.2022 GASTROSCHISIS is when a babys anterior abdominal wall is not completely sealed. As a result, the baby is born with their intestines and/or other organs such as the liver protruding through a hole near the belly button, and occurs in approx 1 of every 2000 births. Little Shelby pictured here was born just before 37weeks and is one of the very lucky ones, not needing surgery. She had the small & large intestines, stomach & bladder out. Doctors were able to slide everything back in just 1 hour after birth, and then pulled the umbilical cord over it to heal. Shelby stayed in the NICU for 33 days, and is now a very healthy and happy almost 2 year old! July 30 is Gastroschisis awareness day - lets show some love for these incredibly strong little fighters and their families!

10.01.2022 Hello to my new and old friends Because I have a fairly decent reach on this page it would be a shame not to try and help my son out with his new adventure: My 14yr old son Braydon has created a social enterprise called 'MovingMeds'. He has been chosen to pitch his idea, as one of 6 grand finalists, at the Future Anything Shark Tank Grand Final in a few weeks time (chosen from more than 2000 students nationally). He has the opportunity to win funding and mentoring to get h...is business up and running. It would be absolutely amazing if you guys could hop over to his page and give him a LIKE, SHARE and INVITE FRIENDS if possible - every bit of support helps and will show the judges that the community is behind him and supports his idea :) Braydon was inspired to create this business after the struggles and passing of his Poppy last Christmas from Leukaemia. Braydon intends to donate 20% of all future profits to the Leukaemia Foundation. Thank you so much to everyone in advance that gets behind this!

09.01.2022 Feeling a little nostalgic tonight! At this very moment, one year ago, this is what I was doing! Getting ready to welcome one super special little girl into the world. Time really does fly!

09.01.2022 Reason #1 to hire a birth photographer: "I wish I had've done that!" I can't even count the amount of times people have reacted to what I do with either a very confused or 'grossed out' face followed by something like "why on earth would you want to have that photographed!?" - birth is so much more than the 'blood and gore' that is for some reason instilled in peoples brains. Birth is also a love story. It's emotional and its a once in a lifetime fleeting moment. Your baby ...is only born ONCE. They only ever take their first breath ONCE. Being able to show your kids how loved they were from the second they were born, and to be able to look back and relive one of the most amazing moments of your life FOREVER. I myself had my last birth photographed and they are honestly the most treasured photos I have. I'll be able to remember forever every single detail of that night. Details that over time have sadly faded from memory with my 2 older kids. I can promise its something you will never regret having done

09.01.2022 There is literally nothing cuter in this world than a brand new baby

04.01.2022 Who hasn't wanted to do this in the grips of a contraction haha - so proud of this lady, she had one epic long labour and held on so beautifully for so long

04.01.2022 Had a great afternoon with this family, including their beautiful 12yr old Rottweiler Trip who made the couple kilometre walk into the forest with us all

01.01.2022 ** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** Hello to all my old and new followers, it has been a long while since I've posted anything on this page, in fact this is the first time I have accessed this account since late last year - this announcement is long overdue however I have just not been able to bring myself to do it. On December 21st - my sister and I held our father, our only parent, and watched as he took his last breath and lost his battle with leukaemia. The months leading up to ...that, as you can imagine, were also extremely difficult. I am immensely sorry to everyone that has messaged or tried to contact me for enquiries and has had no reply. It has been an extremely difficult time and I am still trying to work through losing one of the most important and loved persons in my life. Little You is closed for business until further notice. I am unsure when I will be taking on bookings again. I am truly sorry to anyone who feels they have been overlooked, that has never been my intention. Thank you so much to every single one of you for all the support over the years, hopefully I will be back some time in the future
