23.01.2022 This is a call out to animal lovers! The Animal Rescue Craft Guid is in need of crafted items and donations. I am putting together a sewing bee with our local teenagers and some amazing helpers this Saturday 11th Jan. You can help us by 1) donating any cotton or flannel sheets 2) if you have some spare time or you are sewer, bring your machine and help us out. We will be making Joey hanging pouches for wildlife carers who are doing an amazing job. PM me if you can help

20.01.2022 Keeping traditions....my grandmother always made Xmas hampers with handmade gifts for the family. We worked out that it just over 80 years of family tradition. Over the past few years I have been doing these, and its my favorite part of Xmas. Designing creating, cooking and assembling the gifts. Its now my turn to start training the next generation of hamper makers. This one was a family effort to be included into the 2019 edition. Running a bit late on the production but hey, its been a busy year

18.01.2022 Hey peeps, so this Ill be @saltbushcafefreshwater from 9am to 3 pm and the Freshwater Fair at the village on Sunday 8am to 2 pm. This weekend is a busy one leading up to Xmas with everyone getting their shopping done. Kiln opening with new wares on Friday will be a treat!

Ill be doing a last pop-up for the year on Sat 21st @saltbushcafefreshwater this time in colab with with amazing local talent @chasingmenupmountains. They are the artists behind original watercolour and prints of the wild.. To top the day we will have music by @speakingofwhich_theband. Dont miss out well be there from 8-2

I know not everyone will take on the hanging planter but since theyre a great space saver and I have a small home, theyre ticking all the right boxes. Im loving these new designs. Post Xmas Ill have to populate the plant wall with one of these as a permanent addition

10.01.2022 Whats been happening in the last few weeks that Ive been MIA? Over the summer holidays I always promise myself some RnR which in my language means, lets do a house project! In the spirit of designing with purpose I worked on a few pieces that I wanted for my tiny home. Heres some of the pics of the lounge with a new chocolate planter, a mirror with ceramic and leather work, new letterbox and house number and last but not least my studio got its own sign! I will update you with photos of the revamped studio as soon as I finish! (Only a door frame away ) @ Manly Vale

Serving spoons is something that is usually quite pedestrian but mix some black clay with a few elements and here you have it. There is something a bit tribal about them
