18.01.2022 Last night’s LIVE IN THE LOUNGE ROOM really got me feeling all the feels. We’re almost getting too big for my lounge (aka music) room... almost!! I love my ever-growing crew of singers, non-singers and anywhere/everywhere in between and they truly nailed my Year 11 Morgan arrangement of @lordemusic’s ‘Royals.’ Thanks for warming my soul. Come have a sing with us: Every second Tuesday, 7.30-9pm. No audition, no commitment, new song every session and dog cuddles are always included.

13.01.2022 I actually cried when I watched this back. Not only because of how STUNNING it sounds, but because I truly can't believe what Live In The Lounge Room has (and continues to) become. It quite literally started in my lounge room. Sometimes I'd have three people turn up, sometimes I'd have to cancel. If I was lucky, six or eight people would come and I thought that was AMAZING. When I started working with Town of Walkerville, Live In The Lounge Room slowly started to grow and las...t night we had our biggest group ever - 22 people. I've been asked a handful of times to perform or write a show with this choir and I always politely decline. Why? Because that's not why I created it. Live In The Lounge Room is for shower singers, for car singers, for ex-opera singers, for people who just want to meet new people and maybe gain some confidence. For the mums who need some "me time," for school teachers (like me) who need an escape from their busy working days, for catching up with friends in a relaxed, non-judgemental environment. It's a giant sing-along of well known songs and in all honesty, it's my biggest and proudest passion project. Sorry for the rambling, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has ever joined me for a Live In The Lounge Room session. 07.01.2022 To my LIVE IN THE LOUNGE ROOM fam, What a crazy week this has been so far! I hope you are all staying safe and looking after yourselves, particularly over the next six days. Due to the current COVID outbreak, Town of Walkerville and I have decided to POSTPONE our next session to the 8th of December. We will also be moving into a bigger space to ensure that social distancing can be adhered to. I am hopeful that this will go ahead however I’m sure you can understand that things are constantly changing and if it needs to be cancelled for the health and safety of our community then that’s what will happen.
