22.01.2022 We are *so* excited to be re-launching our Buds intergenerational gardening program in Darebin! Yesterday our Garden Helpers Minna, Dom, Temby and Marco were stoked to meet up for the first time in-person to complete their training! We couldn't be more pleased for this capable, skilled and motivated team. Run in partnership with Darebin Council, Buds offers older people in the district a chance to share their gardening knowledge and experience with our young Helpers while getting a hand to keep on top of gardening work they need done. Know someone who's keen for some gardening help? >> www.lively.org.au/buds

21.01.2022 We're thrilled to announce our newest design project, Take Charge, in partnership with Moreland City Council! Together, we're interviewing residents around Moreland about their experiences with ageing and accessing informal and formal help to support their independence and wellbeing. This project will help us develop new programs and services that support a more empowered experience of ageing and getting aged care help in Moreland. If you know an older person in the area who has a story to shareparticularly if they have struggled to get the support they needemail our Service Designer, Robin, on [email protected].

08.01.2022 No contact? No problem! We had to be creative to bring the fun to our induction and training sessions (considering all the physical limitations), and the results speak for themselves. Help us welcome our new Helpers for the Buds program! This pic features a moment of levity with the team behind Buds, our new intergenerational gardening program that's soon to launch in Darebin. Don't worry, we won't be wearing this when we show up at your house.... Find out more about buds here >>lively.org.au/buds
