24.01.2022 Beautiful people doing amazing things The worst events are when people shine the brightest - there’s so many good things going on in the drought stricken regions, donations flying in from all directions from people wanting to pitch in. More of the amazing effort posts to come. #whereistherain #liverpoolplains #lpp
24.01.2022 The other viewpoint . He raises some good points looking longer term about a national conversation and plan for sustainable agriculture in this country. Drought has and will always be a factor in Australia that has to be prepared for. https://www.theland.com.au//drought-survivor-shouldnt-cha/

21.01.2022 A passionate young farmer has submitted a comment we’d like to share in response to the idiotic comments from PETA in the last week PETA - if you don’t have the time to read this post I at least hope that you bookmark it, and take time from your frantic schedule of mincing unwanted pets to take the blinkers off, and step out from the tunnel you look through and see our side of the fence. In reply to;... If you can’t feed em’ don’t breed em’ I can tell you that if any other farming family or primary producer could see a year, even just 6 months into the future that we would not have bred livestock. Just the same way as you could have put money into an avocado farm or cafe to benefit from the smashed avo trend. Isn’t hindsight the grand leveller in life, we’d all be better off if we could see into the future. So before you stop reading this, roll your eyes and think that this is another sob story about the poor downtrodden farmer, how about you stop and think before you produce this wild and outlandish propaganda. As of late these article seem to pull the ‘wool’ over peoples eyes and paint the farmer or primary producer as the villain. I challenge the average reader and follower of PETA to come to any well managed or family farm in Australia and stop scouring the haystack for one unethical needle. I can promise that; - not one farmer would choose a drought. - not one farmer would sacrifice the earth they share with their livestock for a profit. - not one farmer would promote the mistreatment of an animal raised on their farm, opting to condemn those who do. - not one farmer would choose the atrocities that have been committed. - not one farmer would choose to give up livestock knowing that there will be mistreatment or unethical practices. I put this to you PETA, how about you lend a helping hand for once. Just once. Because the bulk of your organic produce can’t be produced from a roof top garden. You need us farmers as much as we need the Australian public. It’s better to produce and consume produce that is ethically grown here in Australia, grown properly and with care, than to import it from a country with lesser, harsher, production standards. 19.01.2022 Local farmer John Hamparsum speaks about the impact of the drought on the Liverpool Plains. The horrible widespread dry is impacting agriculture and communities in many areas but the resilience and generosity is shining bright
17.01.2022 Back in 2015 a big campaign swirled to stop this mine, so many people threw their hand up to support us. Well our community need you now more than ever Had the drought taught our government nothing about our most precious resource - water #wrongminewrongplace
17.01.2022 Been very reluctant to share the latest stories on the Shenhua mine because the whole process is garbage and a massive joke . Announcing it when they know we are all up to our eyeballs in work is appalling but at the same time nothing less than we would have expected. Deadlines have already passed many times that have been continually extended, how will this one be any different?!?
10.01.2022 An afternoon will be held to update the local community of the proposed mining on the Liverpool Plains, free and open to everyone. Guest speaker Tim Buckley. It’s been a long time in between events and progress and so it’s also a chance for people to come back together and check in with each other. Sunday July 8th Breeza hall

07.01.2022 Monday morning legend to start off your week. Edwina Robertson is an amazing professional rural and wedding photographer that has taken time to drive the length of the drought affected areas to hear the heartbreaking stories and share them to get assistant to where it is needed. If you don’t already follow her One Bucket page head on over and read her updates. Listening can be one of the most helpful things in this hard time .

04.01.2022 Really don't have words to describe anymore how angry and confused the community is at this rubbish proposal. The loop holes , bypassed legislation and the path being paved by the government for this mine is disgusting, most isn't broadcast or public knowledge #enoughisenough #liverpoolplains #getstuffedshenhua #wrongminewrongplace http://www.northerndailyleader.com.au//gomeroi-sacred-sit/
02.01.2022 We are in the worst drought on record that’s costing the country million and millions worth of productivity and jobs, living in the driest continent on earth, and science showing these weather trends are likely to get worse yet we still fight for the protection of water ?! ... That’s political logic for you #wrongminewrongplace
01.01.2022 What do you mean COULD!? ... already HAVE destroyed sites, absolute disgrace #wrongminewrongplace https://www.theguardian.com//shenhua-coalmine-planning-wor
01.01.2022 The science will decide... if the drought has taught us anything it’s the importance of most precious resource, WATER It’s been a while since we’ve posted , not much until this week has happened. I do wish we had the same level of energy as we had in 2015 but this is a another step forward that we need to celebrate. As some may have seen in the news this week a report was released on a water study proving Shenhua has used water models based on figures that are so far off... that it’s impossible. We’ve known this for years and this report took months and months of dedicated work. Thankyou again to our followers , we are still here and won’t be giving up until this is gone completely, absolutely ridiculous and when this information is proved no wonder we have no faith in the process , rigged from the very beginning #wrongminewrongplace #lpp https://www.abc.net.au//shenhuas-watermark-coal-/11062444
