23.01.2022 What a beautiful life. <3

16.01.2022 In the light of the recent TP hoarding stupidity epidemic that has swept the nation, I feel the responsibilty to introduce to you all! Mother Natures wiping solution! Native Australian bush tobacco, with her soft fluffy and yet durable leaves, she graciously accompanies the wiping solution seeker through even the messiest of bowel movements. ;)... Grows naturally all throughout the subtropics and tropical parts of NSW and QLD, maybe elsewhere too! Give a try! It sure beats the TP rat race. Dont fall victim to the haves and have-nots class divided society that is bound to be created the way things are going.. remain a wiper ~ think natural. #freedombeginswithgrowingyourownTP #takebackthepower #getupstandup #dontgiveupthewipe #livingwithnature

11.01.2022 4 years ago, I set out to discover the way of 'earning one's living' based on heartfelt connection with my fellow man and woman, a a way of life rooted in brother and sisterhood, instead of.... Money. I found it. And as it turns out..... It's not as easy as we first thought. But there is no doubt. It's worth it. Are you ready for a quantum leap in lifestyle? #patience #determination #dedication #integrity #adventure #comealive! #livingfreedomorganics

11.01.2022 The real regenerative agriculture!!

09.01.2022 Mhmm.. What an investment!

07.01.2022 Before and after, raised veggie beds! What an investment our friend Brad has made this week. Opportunity for Fresh organic produce for years to come! With water running off the shed roof, partial to full sun, in the subtropics, these beds are sure to burst out greens all through winter. ... The beds were first packed with organic matter, and bio-mass compost, then given a lush and soft, rich top soil. This is so the new plants may start off in an easy soil, whilst also providing them with nutrients deep down underneath over time as the organic matter breaks down and the plants reach deep down for some nourishment as they grow larger. Pleasure building these this week! Still to come on these; A gate, trellices and a shade cloth roof frame to protect from intense sun conditions and animals. #helpingafellowout #permaculture #raisedgardenbeds #livingfreedomorganics #whatawaytospendaday #doitfortheloveofit

07.01.2022 From 'The Village Beekeeper' God Save the Queen Autumn is often the time in conventional/commercial beekeeping that the eager beekeeper kills off the old queen and replaces her with a new one in an attempt to prevent swarming. In fact swarming is often seen as poor management of behalf of the conventional beekeeper. Other reasons given for replacing the queen are to get ‘better’ genetics, ‘better’ cleaning behaviour, better foraging ability, less propolisation, more do...cility and the list goes on. Because we can, and because we think we know best man-kind looks for, ways to manipulate and control nature. Swarming is natural procreative behaviour of a hive. If the season is strong, the hive flourishes, the colony prepares for the birthing of a new community by putting on more honey and pollen storage and laying more eggs. In an altruistic move the ‘old’ queen, with about half of the bees, will leave the hive to find a new home. They leave their legacy to the new queen and the remaining bees for a strong continuation of the colony. In her maiden voyage the new virgin queen, from the original hive, will fly out to mate with around 15 drones. In this way she acquires diverse and locally adapted resilient genes to create a new hive. The ‘old’ queen, is re-invigorated by her second flight to the sun and continues her line of inheritance. Commercial queen breeding selects for particular traits that the beekeeper favours and may lack in genetic diversity when artificially inseminated. Queens may be shipped around the country and may not have the vigour and genetic diversity necessary to thrive in a particular environment. The queen breeder assumes greater intelligence than the inherent wisdom of nature. In 1923 philosopher Rudolf Steiner predicted that if humanity continued to cultivate the honeybees by artificial means, we would, within eighty years, witness the mass disappearance of the bees. Steiner warned against both meddling with the natural process of hive society and artificial manipulation of queen bees. History has shown that bees have survived without us, but we will not survive without the bees. I wonder who needs saving!
