23.01.2022 Our 4 week challenge classes are a mix of HIIT, body weight, weight training and Pilates inspired movements. We have 3 different classes to pick from! HIIT and Core - An intense 30 minute session that focuses on strengthening your core while getting that heart rate up Peaches and Pins - A 45 minute class that focuses on your glutes and legs. We will be working on toning, sculpting and strengthening. You may or may not struggle to walk the next couple days #sorrynotsorry ...Fit and Strong- Here we work on both your lower and upper body and sometimes a little bit of core is chucked in there. 22.01.2022 Lunges are an amazing exercise. There a quite a few different variations that allow us to target different areas of our lower body. We tend to have more strength and balance in one side of our bodies compared to the other. Its normal to have one side that is more dominant then the other! Lunges are a great way to combat this. Some tips for lunges ... - Check your form as you sink into the lunge. Keep that front knee stacked over your ankle with that front heel flat on the ground. - Keep your torso upright as possible while keeping a neutral spine and your core engaged. - SLOW AND CONTROLLED! 18.01.2022 We have have 3 different levels in our luminous mummas challenge. All exercises are safe for postnatal women modified for the different levels below: Level 1 - Exercises modified for newly postpartum or new to exercising mummas or ones that have had pelvic floor or abdominal seperate or issues Level 2 - Once you have done 1 round of our challenge we will the assess if you’re ready to move up to more challenging exercises or have had women’s health physio appointment and been... cleared to exercise (we can recommend one if you’re not sure where to go) Level 3 - Again we will assess your fitness and if your body is ready to proceed to this level. Level 3 this will be the most challenging exercises that are still pelvic floor and diastasis recti friendly. 17.01.2022 3 facts about the bootcamp classes in our 4 week challenge 1)It is not the typical bootcamp you would imagine, I will not be yelling and screaming at you forcing you to do something you can’t do. Instead we will be encouraging and empowering you in a loving way to push yourself to do your best but also now when you need to take a step back and do something different. 2)You will never have the same session, every week is completely different to keep it fun and interesting. 3) We have women of all ages, sizes, shapes and fitness levels. Our classes are suitable for just about everyone and if they’re not we have some different options for you!

16.01.2022 We LOVE seeing our girls surprise themselves with how strong they are. That feeling of achievement and how proud they are of themselves plastered all over their faces when they leave their session is so satisfying and heart warming! Sometimes it’s hard to push yourself when you are training by yourself, that’s why getting a personal trainer is a great idea. I like our first session together to be just simple, for me to get an idea of where you are at with your fitness and ability and how hard I can push you. I will then structure your sessions around that, making sure you get the most out of each session. Check out our recent story to find out our availabilities for next few weeks. Your personal training sessions will be completely customised to your goals and fitness level and planned accordingly to your goals. It’s a great way to stay accountable, learn new things that you can do on your own and become more confident walking into a gym or a class. 12.01.2022 Sometimes we (including myself) see what others are doing and if we aren’t doing what they are we are some how failing. Not taking into consideration how long they’ve been doing something, what their priorities are at that moment and a number of other factors. We see their highlight reels or them at their best and assume that’s how they always are. Not taking into account they haven’t always been at this point and not seeing how hard they’ve worked to get there. Firstly we need to take a step back and be kinder to ourselves. We need to set smaller goals to reach that big goal, you just need to focus on getting to 1 small goal at a time and with patience you’ll get to that one big goal. Changing the way you speak to yourself is going to have a massive impact on everything you do

09.01.2022 Be the example We will be our daughters biggest influence in many ways. If we are criticising ourselves constantly and viewing exercise and food in a particular way because of how we see our bodies they will likely follow in our footsteps. Unfortunately we live in a world where there is already such an overwhelming pressure to look a certain way. Eat this and not that. Lose weight here but not there. We need to change this cycle and it begins with how we treat ourselve...s in front of our children. We need to teach them that we respect and appreciate our bodies instead of focusing on what it looks like. That when we are moving our bodies it’s not because we feel the pressure to be thin it’s because it’s good for us and makes us feel amazing. We need to teach them we are eating certain foods because it nourishes our bodies and the energy it provides makes us feel incredible not because some food is good and other food is bad. We grew up in a culture that is always on a diet, always a new diet in the magazines where the models were perfectly posed and edited. Let’s help create healthy relationships with food and exercise by being that example for them For our mummas we have two options we have PT sessions or our mums and bubs. 06.01.2022 As a mumma myself I completely understand how hard it can be to fit in exercise. Taking care of a little one is full on enough and then you add on taking care of the house, having somewhat of social life and for some working, finding time for ourselves goes on the back burner sometimes. Our luminous mummas class is designed by a mum for mums, so you can bring your little ones along! Whether you are 6 weeks or 12 months postpartum we have different levels available for you. 02.01.2022 How freaking amazing is our girl @soyxbean_ ! She started coming to us 2 years ago and started with PTs because she wasn’t confident in classes and not only has she been in classes for over a year and a half but she also wasn’t afraid to wear her sports bra and shorts in the hot as class yesterday. Obviously physical transformations are amazing but what is more amazing is the transformation into being so confident in your own skin. Proud is an understatement
01.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR I hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s Eve! For me there is something so magical about New Years. A chance to look back on your year and take note of what worked and what didn’t. To be aware of the parts of you that didn’t make your soul happy whether it was your mindset, lifestyle or relation/friendships and use that knowledge to make this year your best year yet. Things happen in life that are out of our control but let’s take charge of the things we can... control. Whether it’s committing to working on your relationship with yourself, creating a balanced lifestyle or parting with anything toxic in your life. Pick 1-3 goals Think of the actions it will take to reach this goal and break all your goals down to micro goals Think of 1-3 daily habits you believe will help you reach this goal and give your best effort to achieve this every day For example GOAL: You want you improve your relationship with yourself Mini goals: -unfollow or mute every single account on social media that makes you question yourself no matter what area in life it is. -follow 10 body positivity pages -read x amount self improvement books. (one of my favs is mastering your mean girl by @melissaambrosini) Daily habits: -actively acknowledge destructive and negative thoughts about self, don’t get mad of yourself for thinking these just acknowledge and then replace with something you would say to your bestfriend if she was talking about herself like that -limit time on social media -read for minimum of 15 mins daily I really hope these tips help, if you think these tips could help someone please share this post with them or tag them below See more
