24.01.2022 Took these giggling gerties for a twilight trail ride with the gorgeous Linda from The Humble Horse and her superb ponies, to share the experience on The Margaret River Region Instagram Stories. We loved it. Thank you Linda

23.01.2022 Soaked up some sunshine on the Busselton foreshore this afternoon. The perfect spot for a catch up with one of my favourite tourism buddies Jenny Lee

22.01.2022 I just joined Australia's South West, the awesome tourism organisation covering Bunbury to Albany. I love working in tourism, showcasing this beautiful region and supporting the operators, and want to continue to channel the opportunities that keep flowing! https://www.australiassouthwest.com//lizzy-pepper-marketing (hopefully I didn't make any typos, mum!)

22.01.2022 Did you ‘do’ Open Studios this year? Complete the survey by Friday for a chance to win a $2,000 Cape Lodge getaway. It’s been my pleasure working with the Open Studios team again and I’m excited about next year already!

22.01.2022 Plenty of gems in Busselton.... from jetty jumping with the girls to devouring WA's best burgers, discovering an amazing ceramic artist to adrenaline thrills in the world's last remaining tuart forest. Here's my latest story for The Margaret River Region on beautiful Busselton.

21.01.2022 It's true... visit the Lightkeeper's Cottage - Interpretive Centre and you'll find a photo of a lighthouse keeper standing atop the lighthouse. Not on the balcony, but riiiight up at the very top. What a brave man, and great to have the stories and history of the lightkeepers preserved.

21.01.2022 Magic moment of a wonderful day We were fortunate enough to get a Wander Voucher which we used on a @jet.adventures tour - the Wander Vouchers were to encourage West Aussies to try new tours and experiences. We are so grateful to have this on our doorstep and can’t wait to see people from other parts of Australia enjoy it too, once borders reopen.

20.01.2022 If you haven’t yet been to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, now is the time to do it. They just won a WA Heritage Award for the new(ish) Lightkeeper’s Cottage Interpretive Centre. It’s a fascinating insight into the lives of lighthouse keepers and their families.

17.01.2022 Happy WA Day. I’m so grateful to live and work in this pocket of paradise. To have pristine beaches, incredible wildlife and flora in our own back yard. And dolphins. Love the dolphins. It’s great to share this with visitors once again.

14.01.2022 I always seem to score epic weather in Augusta - Sunday was so warm we got to ditch the jumpers! Exploring Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse - somewhere I usually visit for work - with the fam

14.01.2022 MRROS chairman Jim Davies and I will share a short presentation on Margaret River Region Open Studios at PechaKucha Vol 33 Dunsborough this Sunday. It's a free, family friendly community event, and we'd love to see you there.

13.01.2022 This is wonderful!

13.01.2022 The crystal wonderlands re-opened today. Lake Cave, Ngilgi, Mammoth and Jewel have all been shut for two months, now they welcome guests once again. Amazing underground adventures await! Awesome taken by Scott Slawinski Base Imagery during December’s The Margaret River Region Instameet. Can’t wait to help host another of these.

12.01.2022 Congratulations Lincoln, Neil and Coralie on your beautiful new McLeod Tours - Margaret River website I wrote their copy a few years ago and gave it a refresh this year, ready for the launch. https://mcleodtours.com.au/

12.01.2022 Marq Wines have a midwinter special: 20% off their entire range, online only, ends 30 June. The reminder newsletter goes out this morning My picks; Petit Manseng for Chardonnay lovers, Gamay, Cabernet Franq and Malbec Quick sticks before it’s over! No coupon needed, just head to marqwines.com.au

12.01.2022 The lovely Jess Green wanted a simple website developed quickly for her luxury holiday home Heartbeat Retreat. Between us - Jess writing, me creating the website in - we had it launched in under two weeks. Just in time for regional borders to reopen, and Jess to start taking bookings. I loved the short time frame - I wonder if there's a market for a "one week website"? Heartbeat Retreat in Yallingup >> https://www.heartbeatretreat.com.au/

11.01.2022 Happy Rosé Day! Celebrating and drinking in the beautiful Eagle Bay view with my newest social media client Wise Wine

10.01.2022 "Lizzy helped us give our website a much needed update and refresher. She was great to work with and was always available at the drop of a hat to help fix an issue or update. Very experienced in modern website formats and delivered a final product we were exceptionally happy with. Thanks Lizzy!" I thoroughly enjoyed working with Choices South West to re-write and develop their new website, which launched last week. They provide a really important service and we're very fortunate to have them right here in Dunsborough. https://choicessw.com.au/

09.01.2022 I recently had the pleasure of working with Jodie and Dave from Easy Ride Tours, putting together a marketing strategy to get them up and running again and re-engaged with local tourism stakeholders. Can’t wait to get out on one of their electronically assisted ebikes for an easy tour through the vineyards Thanks Jodie and Dave!

09.01.2022 After a challenging few months it felt fantastic to get out in the sunshine and canoe the Margaret River, try my luck fishing and walk a little of the Cape Track to showcase on The Margaret River Region channels. Thanks Sean and Tim - I’m feeling refreshed and inspired. There’s tough times ahead for our beloved tourism industry but it’s great to see green shoots emerging and glimmers of hope. Thanks guys The Margaret River Discovery Co - Wine & Adventure Tours ... Tim Campbell Photo See more

08.01.2022 "Watching my children collect gumnuts, hearing parrots squawk, roasting marshmallows on a fire what an absolute privilege." My latest story for The Margaret River Region on Bina Maya Yallingup Escape.

05.01.2022 Thanks St Mary's Old Girls for the feature! Work is quiet at the moment, but I’m always grateful to work with incredible people in an industry I love. Tim Campbell Photo

04.01.2022 Tickled pink to make this announcement today and to be working on this wonderful event again. 103 artists will participate in Margaret River Region Open Studios this spring, so please mark your calendar and make space for some new art! ...... IT’S ON! We are thrilled to announce that Margaret River Region Open Studios is rescheduled for 12 to 27 September 2020. 103 artists from around the region will be opening their studio doors to welcome in art lovers. Please share this happy news! The event will run in the same format artists opening their private studios to the public to view their artwork, gain an insight into how they create their work, and share stories and information. Naturally, our artist studios will conform to the State Government’s COVID-19 health and safety requirements in place at the time of the event and we will share this information with you prior to the event. Printed event guides will be repurposed with a sticker on the cover with the new dates, but we recommend you visit our website mrropenstudios.com.au to find a full list of artists participating and (closer to the event) their studio opening times.
