24.01.2022 An invite from our Care n Share Group, meet in the Church Hall, 3rd Friday of the month from midday: Hi Everyone It's with great pleasure to inform you that Care N Share is starting back this Friday 17/7 at midday it will be so wonderful to see you all again. We do have some restrictions thanks to COVID-19 ... Please don't come if you are feeling unwell. I'm not allowed to serve food so please bring a sandwich as it's lunch time. I will have coffee & tea. Also there is some biscuits and cakes that are wrapped I will provide. I won't be setting up as I would normally do as there will be way too much disinfecting to do after. 04.01.2022 Church is OPEN. On Sunday 19 July we will be holding our first, in-person church services. The services that are open are: 8:00am in the church hall 9:30am in the auditorium (with a video for kids in the hall and creche is open, no teen group)... 6:30pm in the church hall Two Rocks will not be opening until August. As some people will not be ready to return for the moment, we will also attempt to video the sermon during the 8:00am service and upload it to the normal YouTube channel. This will not be available until later on Sunday. For those planning to attend services in person, here are some of the counter-Covid measures you will encounter: There will be hand sanitising stations Masks will be available You can register on the day for contact tracing purposes You will need to rug up as some windows and doors will be open during the services for extra ventilation There will be no food, tea, coffee or communion Offering will continue to be mostly electronic although there will be a box available at services to post physical offerings if needed There is a maximum number for each venue we have to comply with (69 in the hall and 282 in the auditorium). Our stewards and greeters will make sure we dont exceed these numbers Members from households may be seated together and are encouraged to leave 1.5m (3 seats) between other seated household groups We will ask people to move through the foyer quickly as it has a limited capacity For those wanting to linger and talk we encourage you to move out of the buildings to allow observance of appropriate spacing Please observe the health guidelines that have been constantly reinforced by the government. This includes spacing, and hygiene and if you are unwell, please do not attend the services. Urgent: We still need volunteers to help with cleaning (wiping seats, etc). Please contact Wendy at [email protected] if you are able to help at one of the services. As we gather together the overall message is to be conscious of other people and allow them to respond to these circumstances in their own way. We have been, and will continue to be unique, in our personal response to touch and physical distance and our aim is to be respectful, kind and generous to each other as we journey this together.
