24.01.2022 Too cold and wet to do much outside today. Took the opportunity to take some photos of the ponies in between showers.

24.01.2022 Very relaxed day at Dodges Ferry for our yearling Llangollen Camilles’ (Llangollen Camilla x Flowerdale Topgun) second show. After planting her feet and refusi...ng to leave the line up at the Tasmanian All Welsh Show, today she finally found the ‘go‘ button. Still a long way to go but we were absolutely thrilled with class wins and Championships in the Welsh and APSB classes. Huge thank you to the wonderful Judges, stewards, sponsors and the Dodges Ferry Horse Riding Club committee and members for an enjoyable day. See more

21.01.2022 Very proud of full siblings Llangollen Top Notch and Llangollen Top Hat (Llangollen Camelia (dec) x Flowerdale Topgun) who placed 2nd & 3rd respectively in the Welsh Mountain Pony sires rating at the recent 20th International Welsh Show held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Both ponies are Tasmanian owned but are currently on lease in Victoria. Top Notch is currently in the care of Luke Dawes of Pant-Y-Fynon Stud and will return to Tasmania on a permanent basis in the future. A big thank you to everyone who exhibited their stock.

19.01.2022 Foaling done and dusted at Llangollen Stud for the season with only two Welsh Mountain Pony foals. A very pretty chestnut filly out of Llangollen Choice (Llangollen Camilla x Trentlyn Aristocrat (dec) by Flowerdale Topgun and a grey colt out of Llangollen Camilla (Tjuringa Alice x Coed Coch Hyder (Imp) by Flowerdale Topgun.

10.01.2022 Our very vocal and excited filly Llangollen Camille (Llangollen Camilla x Flowerdale Topgun) had a very successful afternoon at the Champion of Champions Breed Show winning overall Supreme Youngstock, Supreme Tasmanian Bred and Supreme owner/Breeder/Exhibitor. Thanks to Sally Smith, Maureen Reece and Committee for a great show.

04.01.2022 LLANGOLLEN TOP GUN (Llangollen Camelia (dec) x Flowerdale Topgun) After being orphaned at 2 weeks of age and raised by his grandmother Llangollen Camilla, Llangollen Top Gun made his show debut on Sunday at the Tasmanaina Arabian Riders and Breeders All Breeds Show at Campbell Town and was awarded Champion Senior Welsh Exhibit. Top Gun is owned by Llangollen Stud, however he has been under care with the Hawkes family where Danny has produced and shown him to perfection.

04.01.2022 The beautifully matched combination of Katrina Christensen, rider Abby Smith and Kristi Gartner's, 'Llangollen Porsche' won the class for Leading Rein Show Hunter Pony N.E. 12hh.

Huge thank you to Cat Talbat and Irene Laughlin who worked tirelessly both days to deliver two very enjoyable shows. We were very privileged to have two exceptional judges, Beverley M...oore (UK) and Jillian Lang (UK) who braved two very hot days, quite a contrast to the snow they are experiencing at home.
