03.01.2022 We are hiring Diesel Mechanic LM Diesel Services is seeking a Qualified diesel mechanic/fitter to undertake a wide variety of heavy vehicle projects based out of Port Pirie, SA. This Casual position will be a total of 40 hours per week, plus additional over time during busy periods, with potential to become Full Time permanent for the right candidate. Attractive remuneration package offered, based on experience and performance.... About us: LM Diesel Services is family owned Mechanical and Spare parts business focussed on supplying quality Service and Parts to a wide range of industries including Mining, Transport, Industrial and Agriculture. We have a large modern workshop with a new Spare parts showroom. To be successful, the following is required: - Full Australian Drivers Licence - Valid Australian Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate and other mechanical certificates and licences - Strong Customer service - At least 3-5 years Previous experience on heavy diesel machines - Willing to work over time when required - Motivated & take pride in your work Job Description: - Carry out servicing and repairs on heavy vehicles - Maintain a consistent and positive approach to all servicing and repairs with quality workmanship - Ability to understand diagnostic equipment - Strong focus on the safety and well being of all in the workplace - Be able to fault find and diagnose mechanical, electrical, air and hydraulic systems - Attend break downs and occasional field service work The following would be an advantage: Aircon Licence, High Risk Licences, on Highway Vehicle, Caterpillar, Komatsu & Hitachi experience.
