01.01.2022 Residents of Moreton Bay and surrounds can now sleep and breathe easier thanks to Peninsula Private Hospital Specialist, Dr Lydia Mowlem. Dr Mowlem is excited to facilitate access to state of the art specialised equipment, previously only available in medical facilities outside the Moreton Bay Region. New lung function testing equipment and diagnostic sleep testing units will provide patients with a local option for health care and specialised management. The new lung functi...on equipment enables the clinic to measure how effectively air can be moved in and out of the lungs and how the lungs are functioning. Diagnostic sleep testing units can be taken home by patients so they can complete testing in the convenience of their own home. Moreton Sleep & Lung is located at Suite 23, Peninsula Specialist Centre, Corner George & Florence Street, Kippa-Ring. The Clinic is open five days a week and a referral from a General Practitioner or Specialist is required.
