16.01.2022 My Wednesday night was spent filling in at Aqua Aerobics and Aqua Bootcamp These are fantastic low impact options for those with joint issues, yet still heart pumping!! Comment below on how you’ll keep active today, amidst your busy life :)

15.01.2022 When I get the chance to train my regular client AND her other half, I jump at it. Here, they had just finished the November Metafit release, Boneyard, so I put them through a gruelling kettlebell session to finish them off. I think Kaths’ facial expression says it all Training with your significant other is a great way to bond, to share and to give each other a gentle (or not ) competitive push. Have a great day and try to include 30min of dedicated walking somewhere in it.

08.01.2022 I love when my clients bring their kids to our sessions, for a few reasons -Watching a toddler mimmick exercise is bloody cute! -To see a 7yr old hold an excellent plank while his mum does is bloody astounding. ... -Whether it be a good, or not so good, influence, our little people will most certainly follow in our footsteps and when they see us exercising it becomes the norm for them. -If it was the choice between missing a session or bringing the kidlets, you know which one I’d encourage. Being out and active is better for Mum/Dads’ mental health. The last two points are the most important. Our kids are our future and without healthy role models, they’re starting life on the back foot. Also, the endorphins released during and after exercise leave us feeling on top of the world! Remember: see, do... ~Lou~

07.01.2022 I can count on one hand the amount of workouts I’ve done at home. I have all the equipment, I have the knowledge. I. Just. Don’t. Like. ... It. Do the things you DON’T like doing, first. Damn, talk about taking my own advice... Needless to say, I have a pretty cool training buddy who demonstrates stretching very well!
