19.01.2022 Hi everyone, COVID-19 is changing the way we do businesses and go about our daily lives. One of the biggest changes (in our industry) is that real estate agents are no longer able to do open homes and auctions. For you to go and view a home (by appointment only) then you NEED to be PRE-APPROVED. Now not every bank will provide a fully assessed pre-approval. Some are simply computer generated if you meet "certain criteria". ... Some of these banks are even taking up to 25 "business days" before they even look at your application. How crazy is that?! 04.01.2022 More and more banks have now come out with their policy to deal with clients seeking hardship. One of the things to remember is... If you're impacted and need to seek hardship assistance, please have them contact their Bank as soon as possible, do NOT go into arrears first and then make contact. If you fall into arrears prior to hardship this will have far reaching impacts for the future. In saying that, please try and be patient and calm when calling the banks. They are trying their best to get to everyone as quickly as possible.
