25.01.2022 Today was another day for furniture assembly which included a three seater sofa bed, a two seater sofa, a coffe table and a dining chair. The 2 sofas were from ikea arriving in no less than 16 individual packages. And a quick warning for any DIYers out there... you have to fit some of the covers during the build because you'll never get them on afterwards :)

25.01.2022 Well today's job was all about furniture assembly. 3 bedrooms and a little magic in the kitchen. Full description in the photos :) And if you'd like any help with assembling any kind of furniture, you can make a booking here... https://localadserv.com.au/furniture-assembly/

23.01.2022 Please help one of my earliest customers. Sewing for Charity Australia

23.01.2022 To all my arch rivals... Here's one I built earlier :) To take out an existing door and frame and create a ready for painting arched entrance in it's place.

22.01.2022 Have a great weekend guys :)

22.01.2022 Ive been a little quiet here of late but thatll soon change :)

22.01.2022 Oh oh... more boxes. I wonder what it all means :)

22.01.2022 Today, I had the undeniable pleasure of working at the Sewing For Charity Australia's Sewing Lair in Beenleigh. Thay had a few safety related jobs for me including: Creating a portable ramp for wheelchair access through the front door.... Securing a myriad of shelving units to prevent tipping hazards. Plating over an internal floor drainage channel to prevent tripping hazards and Creating a ballustrade solution to the internal staircase to help anybody in freefall when tripping. Sewing for Charity is a great place with a fantastic group of volunteers all working together for an excellent cause. You can find them here on facebook at Sewing for Charity Australia or at their website https://sewingforcharity.com

21.01.2022 Happy mother's day ladies, here's a two foot wall... you, know, like the ones you use to contain your kids (and possibly your husband) with :)

21.01.2022 It's been a quiet week for photo ops so far this week but that was before today's job. It was not a particularly huge task but.. When I got there somebody had done a job on the existing 40mm skirtings in as much as they had fitted (glued) newer 60mm skirtings above the others ??? And... it looked awesome!!! NOT.... So, it was out with the old and in with some new 120mm mouldings to basically hide all the damage the glued add ons had created on the wall surface. Not the most glamorous of jobs but it was a lot better after I'd finished :)

20.01.2022 Brace yourselves... https://7news.com.au//iconic-bunnings-sausage-sizzles-to-r

20.01.2022 For those of you stuck at home without an income during these trying times, you might want to look into this because... Well because every little helps. https://localadserv.com.au/how-to-make-money-maintaining-y/

20.01.2022 In order to show my customers I mean business, today the company chariot was given... a shiney new eye-catching overcoat :)

20.01.2022 With pre-polling starting today, it might be quite timely for me to dust this down for another posting :) ... VOTE ME!!

19.01.2022 According to the press, Harvey Norman is doing really quite well for himself at the moment as everybody and his dog is currently buying office stuff so they can properly work from home. How's that for proof that somebody always comes out of a crisis well? And this made me think about marketing a home office product of my own. Maybe I should be focussing on home office creation projects.... So, that being the case, here's one I created back at Localad Towers. Maybe I could do the same for you? And then... There's a new phenomenon going round called cocooning. Where we all want to wrap ourselves and our families in cotton wool and stay home while the outside world is busy going a little bit crazy. Maybe you'd like to make your home a little nicer in which to do so. If that's the case, you can get a free quote here... https://localadserv.com.au/get-free-quote/

19.01.2022 Noooooooooo !!!

14.01.2022 I built another cat enclosure today... But judging by the size of it, I think this ones gonna be for tigers :) It was a 5 hour build all in and that was without any help. Took some final positioning too.

14.01.2022 A huge thanks to all you awesome people who like and share my posts here. Because today's job came as a result of your shares on an earlier post regarding garage shelving. And with all that said, here's today's garage shelving installation.... Did I tell you how awesome you all are?

13.01.2022 As the attached photos show, I was unmistakeably evidenced actually doing a bit.... Today was to be a huge painting day which entailed the ubiquitous 2 mandatory coats to all surfaces which included: Bathroom, Hallway and main Living room ceilings... White ... Hallway and bathroom walls... a drinking chocolate colured brown Feature wall for future mounting of TV... a cool dark royal blue And a feature wall yet to be wallpapered was also coated white to prevent any bleed through of the existing colur. For those in the know, that blue can take upwards of four coats to get it good and solid. Hence the front door being undercoated too. Obviously, these are not my photos, I'll try and get some summary shots in by the end of the job :)

11.01.2022 "Please come and help me organise my garage", was the cry... So without further ado, I set to and knocked up a heavy duty shelving solution for our damsel in distress. Whereby the whole garage got sorted and there was a lot more space for both all of the customer's belongings and her poor car, that was in the process of slowly being squeezed out into the cold... So here's a before, during and after shot of the job in hand... now leaving a whole wall clear for getting out of t...he car. And the next stop... Tetris? :)

11.01.2022 One of the reasons...

11.01.2022 Here's to wishing you all a very happy and virus free St Patricks day. To be sure, to be sure...

11.01.2022 Business as usual (for the time being)...

08.01.2022 This day was a hanging things on walls kind of day. Things like a tumble drier, a $5000 72 inch television, clocks & ornaments and... a couple or three hundred photos, notice boards and priceless works of art. The joys of moving house made a whole lot easier with Handyman Assist.... https://localadserv.com.au/wall-mountings/
