25.01.2022 LLL members were incredibly lucky to be a part of the Chief Executive Women's Annual Dinner on Thursday night that, thanks to COVID, was being held virtually this year!! Gabrielle Curtin, one of our amazing contributors for the B2B Summit, made it possible for LLL members to share in the experience by bringing her laptop and her all access pass to us! As usual Tumut River Brewery delivered the goods with amazing platters, pizza and wine and we had a fabulous evening of ...laughter, learning, inspiration and even a hit from Abba ;-) The theme was resilience and we heard from an array of women with fascinating stories of how they have found resilience through their career and life in general and we were also graced with the stunning vocals of Katie Noonan. The keynote was from Shemara Wikramanayake, the MD of Macquarie Group. I really resonated with her personal story through her presentation, and highlights included: Don't sweat the small stuff Focus on what we can control - namely, our attitude Always look for the opportunities Thanks to everyone who came along and made it a wonderful event!
21.01.2022 Exciting news. We have been given the privilege of being invited to view the Chief Executive Women's Annual Dinner. This is an event usually held in Sydney and attended by top businesswomen from throughout Australia. Due to Covid it is being held virtually and we are lucky enough to have access to the event. The key note speaker is Shemara Wikramanayake, CEW Member and Managing Director and CEO, Macquarie Group (pictured below). It is taking place at Tumut Brewery this Thursday 26 November 2020 from 5.30 pm where we will watch the event on the projector screen. Numbers are limited - we only have 8 spots left. Please let us know if you would like to join us. This is an rare opportunity to be a part of this fantastic event and be inspired by amazing women.
