25.01.2022 Here's our little shop from 2017 - she looks so little here! We're feeling nostalgic because we have some news to share. This weekend would have marked our 3rd birthday at Preston Market. Our Preston Market location is now officially closed. 2020 has been a massive year of change and we're sneaking in one more major change before the year is out. ... Local Pantry Co. will live on with our online store, free local deliveries for our neighbours, custom and corporate hamper options, but it's time to say goodbye to our first full time bricks and mortar store. Thanks to our extended family at the market. It's been a wild three years getting to know you all and being part of the market community. 18.01.2022 **Local production update** We've had word that our locally made range of wares from Robert Gordon have had to cease production due to stage 4 restrictions. This means that we aren't able to order any more till September and there's likely to be a longer than usual wait for delivery as they're made to order. So, if there's something you were planning on getting for Father's Day or a birthday between now and November, I'd recommend getting on over there now and snapping it up.

13.01.2022 With a two week extension to stage four and a long road back out of restrictions, yesterday's news was a little heavy for Victorians. We're looking at what we can do to make it easier, for those in lockdown, those wanting to send a little love to someone who is, and for our Victorian based suppliers who are missing all their usual markets and events still. There's a new category on our website today, #ClickforVic with all our Victorian based food, pottery, eco wares and aut...hors in one big group! Shop from there to help support Victorian small businesses. It's a little step that makes a big difference to us and to the brand's we stock.

They've noted delays across the network, but we're seeing our Melbourne deliveries still arriving at their destinations within 2 - 3 days which is really comforting. Interstate friends, please know that with fewer flights, boarder closures and changes to staff numbers at distribution centres, there may be a delay in getting your goodies to you. ... Other shipping notes that remain unchanged: Express Post guarantee remains suspended - we will reintroduce this option to our website as soon as it becomes available. Signature on delivery also suspended - again, when it is available we will resume the option in our checkout. In store pick up is no longer available for the duration of Stage 4 lockdown. Free local delivery is available for orders of $30 to addresses in Preston, Reservoir, Thornbury, Northcote, Coburg, Pascoe Vale, Heidelberg West.
