13.01.2022 Calling all interested persons that wish to upskill themselves as a COACH Cricket NSW will be delivering a Community Coach Course in Newcastle on Monday, Febr...uary 17 and 24 at Hunter Christian School - Kerr St & Bull St, Mayfield from 6:00pm 8:15pm both evenings. A number of exciting changes have been made in relation to the Community Coach Course this season. A series of online modules have been created, across a variety of different topic areas, to compliment the 4.5 hour face to face Community Coach practical session. The Community Coach component of the Course is now entirely practical, and the theory, concepts and key messages outlined in the online modules will be brought to life in a practical way. 12.01.2022 Maitland & District Cricket Association, held their annual Presentation Night on Saturday 1st April @ East Maitland Bowling Club. By all accounts, it has been said, to have been a successful event, with guest speakers including Jeff Thomson and Australian Blind Cricketer Matt Cameron. On behalf of Lochinvar Cricket Club, we thank The MDCA for their continued role and support of our local cricket clubs. We also thank our Secretary Terri-Ann, who attended the presentation nigh...t, in which Lochinvar Cricket Club was officially awarded the C Grade Major Premiership. Two players who were also awarded, our Captain Will Bischoff for his batting average of 62 runs and our Vice Captain Brian Lawerence for his bowling aggregate of 25 wickets. We thank Terri-Ann for receiving these awards on behalf of the boys. Congratulations to both Will & Brian on this great achievement and to our whole team, on a fantastic season. Bring on 2017/2018

Rain has proved for difficult playing conditions the past few weeks, hence we have 3 grounds allocated for play today, to start at 12.30pm.... 10.01.2022 Hello Everyone, After a day of recovery and on behalf of our board, club & players, we would like to give one more shout out of thanks to a few people, in regards to the season and our presentation night, last night. Firstly, our major sponsor Warren & Nicole of Lochinvar Hotel, not only for their continued support, but also for a great function & meal last night and throughout the year. It is always a pleasure to work with you throughout the cricket season, you go above an...d beyond....thank you . ps Thank you for the solo entertainment of Raylax, he rocks, he was awesome. Get him back Dan & Kelly of Hollingshed Hoist & Haulage, not only for your continued support of our team but also for your presence and your added generous donation toward our Presentation Night, last night......thank you . Paterson Butchery, while we were sorry you couldnt make our Presentation Night last night, we thank you for your committed support and we look forward to continuing business with you next season.....thank you . 10.01.2022 After the ground at Tarro was deemed inadequate for todays big grand final game, both teams and officials, made their way to Somerset Park at Thornton. With team captains in agreeance, play commenced at Somerset Park with Lochinvar bowling first.

04.01.2022 Representatives from The Lochinvar Rovers Football Club may have noticed a marked difference to their amenities this year and its all thanks to grant funding u...nder the Stronger Country Communities Fund. The Round 2 funding has enabled the renovation of existing change rooms, installation of individual shower cubicles and the provision of a referees change room at the Lochinvar Sports Complex on 230 Robert Road. The project received around $90,000 in funding and will significantly enhance user experience at the site. #strongercountrycommunities #mymaitland #lochinvar #football
