24.01.2022 Lockhart & District Community Services Inc. celebrated National Meals on Wheels Day today on 27th August. The clients received a Place Mat & a Meals on Wheels Tea Towel. We would like to take the opportunity to thank our Volunteers that give up their valuable time to deliver the meals. This is a great service for the community.

08.01.2022 LDCS has been very busy in July. We have purchased a new wheel chair accessible bus for our clients, this is great for the Community & surrounding areas. Centre based Day-care enjoyed a trip Junee Licorice & Chocolate factory, the clients had a lot of fun. If your interested in attending its held Tuesday's at the Uniting Church Hall 10:00am to 2:00pm. Morning, Lunch and afternoon tea at nominal cost. Activities supplied. Transport can be organised. We now have new volunteer Drivers but are always looking for more, if your wanting to give back to your community or know of anyone that might be interested come in and see Ellen at the front desk or call the Office on 69204162.

06.01.2022 The Men's Group enjoyed their trip to the Temora Aviation on Saturday. They enjoyed watching the aircrafts flying & the displays at the Museum. Watch out for the next monthly trip. If your interested in the next trip contact the Office for further details.

04.01.2022 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST. We are looking at expressions of interest from residents of the villages Boree Creek, The Rock, Pleasant Hills & Yerong Creek to have the community bus service run to Wagga on a monthly basis. If you would like this opportunity to get to Wagga for social shopping please contact Ellen at the office on 6920 4162.... With enough interest this service will run to Wagga once a month.

03.01.2022 We are having a Garage Sale Saturday the 8th of March at the back of our building which is located at 9 Matthews Street starting at 8:00am. Lots of things for sale ranging from mobility supplies, wheel chairs, computers, and lots of other items. Come and Check us out .

03.01.2022 Seniors week this week, Our local seniors group are on a trip today to wagga to see a theatre production and enjoy a lovely lunch at the Tolland hotel. Happy Seniors Week Everyone !!!
