20.01.2022 Bill coached many athletes from Lockhart. He was involved with our club almost from its inception, giving freely of his time and knowledge. He travelled to Championships, both Little Athletics and school, to support his athletes. If he was unable to attend, a phone call was always made to Bill to let him know how each event had gone. As a fellow coach I have had the privilege of being mentored by Bill and have worked alongside him at many clinics. RIP Bill

14.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW would like to provide our Centres and Members with an update in relation to Championship (Zone/Region/State) events for the 2020/2021 seaso...n. The Covid-19 Pandemic will have an impact on how we deliver our championship events this season. The board is committed to delivering quality events that keep our members safe. The staff and championships committee have been considering a number of options to achieve this. Whilst we currently do not have the final details we would like to share some of the details with you all: The traditional Zone and Region Championships will not take place this season. A number of State Qualifying meets will be held in the early part of 2021, most likely February. A State Championship Event will be held in March. The full details of the above will be announced in the coming weeks.

03.01.2022 Joining instructions. Registrations are now open online. Apply for your active kids voucher through service NSW and then register through Little Athletics NSW registration portal.... Athletes must be 3 years to 16 years of age to register. Club night is Fridays from 4pm - 6pm, at the Lockhart Recreation Ground. First club meet will be on Friday 11th September 2020. Little athletics is run by volunteers and some parent assistance is necessary on club night to run athletic activities. It's a wonderful thing for our children to have someone there to encourage them as they strive to be their best and it's rewarding as a parent/carer to watch our little ones enjoy their fitness, fun and friendships. You can be involved in essential tasks such as measuring distance activities, setting up and packing away equipment and recording times. Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian and in accordance with Covid requirements/restrictions. If you have any questions please leave a message for the club and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Keep an eye out for our information flyer or head over to little athletics NSW website.
