22.01.2022 Pavilion Update Council has advised us that the new pavilion is all but finished with only some small finishing touches required for the building to be complete.... It’s not furnished yet, but that is coming soon and we hope that will be ready when the season starts. Landscaping works are continuing and photos show the work completed in front of the West pitch. As you can see, it’s looking pretty special. Thanks the City of Greater Bendigo for such a great job. See more

21.01.2022 Tonight we have made the difficult decision to postpone Saturday's Come and Try and registration morning due to the unfolding COVID 19 situation. Please accept our apologies and the late notice. Could you please keep an eye of the FB pages and your emails for further information in the coming weeks and if you are not a member and are interested in Hockey please register your interest at [email protected] or [email protected] and we can keep you informed. Annie will still be coming to Kerang if you want new sticks etc 10am.

18.01.2022 Mon 3rd August Dear HCV Hockey Community Following the recent Premier’s announcement of a return to Stage 3 restrictions for Regional Victoria effective immed...iately all HCV hockey activities will be suspended for the period of these restrictions. This includes our Junior Winter competition and all training and use at the facility. Clubs are not able to hold trainings and the Bendigo Regional Hockey Complex will be closed for activities for the period of Stage 3 restrictions, commencing today. We will reconvene during the restriction period with discussions on future possibilities and we hope to be able to provide some form of Hockey in term four (Oct to Dec), for any interested participants. HCV Committee of Management would like to thank all Clubs and our members for everything we have done to ensure we are all kept safe, especially the adaptability of our members to the changing circumstances we have faced. Although only brief the smiles and fun had on the pitch from all our junior participants and their supporters was a joy to see. Personally, I would like to thank you all for your contribution to this year in whatever form that has taken. In a very difficult season, it was great to see all the hard work, support, and collaboration across all clubs. Please continue to follow safe health practices, helping to keep the case numbers in our region extremely low. Annie Anderson from Hooked 2 Hockey will be at the ground with her van full of hockey equipment ne...xt Monday night (27th July) from 4pm if you need any gear. She'll also be back again on Friday night (31st July) too from 4pm She'll have plenty of stuff so make sure you contact her if you need anything to start your junior season or to keep training. 10.01.2022 Hi all, We attended a President's meeting tonight in Bendigo in relation to the Covid-19 situation and our upcoming hockey season. Some of you may have seen the release from Hockey Vic today saying it was "business as usual". However, the HCV Committee of Management met last night and they have decided that ALL hockey activities related to the HCV competition will be delayed. The Ashley St hockey complex in Bendigo will be in lockdown from Friday 20th March until at least Tue...sday 14th April. There will be no training for any club at the pitch complex during this time, nor will there be any games played. This decision has the approval of Hockey Victoria. The HCV committee and Presidents will meet in the week of 14th April to make a decision as to whether the season will begin then or be further delayed. We believe this is a sensible approach and has the community of hockey at the centre of this decision. The Club Catch-up & Training day scheduled for Sunday 22nd at the Ashley st complex has been CANCELLED. As a committee, we will continue to work through the Come'N'Try morning for juniors and post an update as soon as we have news. Thanks for your cooperation.
