Today during our group time in the Preschool Possum room, we talked about how the Lunar New Year is celebrated, what countries celebrate this day, and followed on to draw a Lunar New Year Celebration.

15.01.2022 Please welcome Eddie the Emu and Rosie the Wombat! Miss Song noticed that the children were loving our furry friends and suggested they be a permanent part of the Preschool Possum’s room. Miss Kara asked the Possum’s during group time for name suggestions ... and they all decided on Eddie and Rosie !!... Eddie and Rosie’s important role within the room is to provide comfort and companionship to our friends when they may be feeling lonely, sad or just want some company . Eddie and Rosie have fantastic listening ears and love to be patted .

14.01.2022 Today our Preschool Possums had the opportunity to discuss and draw what they can do each day to have a fun, safe and inclusive learning environment. Miss Jamila divided them into four small groups, with crayons and a blank piece of paper. Miss Jamila and Miss Teagan moved around the room encouraging the children to express themselves verbally and creatively .
