24.01.2022 Todays volunteers in action. Thank you so much. Youre wonderful.

24.01.2022 The cleanup is progressing nicely. Hopefully we will be able to open this weekend. Thanks must go again to the wonderful volunteers who helped make this possible.

23.01.2022 Its now been 3 months since the flood, and thanks to a warm winter and the exceptional amount of help from all the amazing volunteers, we are on the way to restoring the tree farm to its previous splendour . From being under 2 m - 3 m of water in most places, the trees are regaining their lush foliage with glossy new growth. We are looking forward to a wonderful spring season.

23.01.2022 This little guy loves to visit us on a regular basis.

18.01.2022 A sincere thank you to the mud army who came to help us clean up last Saturday. Special thanks to Cr. Jennie Breene who co-ordinated the response. We would also like to thank Ehsan Alvi and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Qld, George Anderson and the members of the Church of the Latter Day Saints, Logan Mayor Pam Parker, State Member for Waterford Mike Latter, Federal member for Forde Bert Van Manen, Craig Dickson from Intrec Management Qld, the wonderful subbies, (especially Kev with his water blaster), Jennies husband Mike and their children and Beenleigh Rotary for bringing and manning the BBQ. Something very special happened here last Saturday, and I feel humbled and privileged to have been a part of it.

15.01.2022 URGENT FLOOD CLEAN UP CALL OUT! Do you want to help? Can you help? Will you? Cr Jennie Breene has issued the following call out.... "The Logan River Tree Farm at 39 Chapman Drive, Beenleigh, NEEDS HELP URGENTLY to SAVE their farm." This is TIME SENSITIVE and is an IMMEDIATE NEED. They need as many people as they can get to help with the heavy work of shoveling mud and moving trees. They also need people to do the less-heavy work of re-attaching and checking irrigation. Also, if you can, I'm sure the workers would appreciate some lunch or snacks to help keep them going. The business owner, Ailsa, is very grateful for anything we can do. If you can give SOME of YOUR TIME TODAY, please bring a shovel or two if you can. WATER BLASTERS are also needed, if you have one. Meet ASAP at the property. I'LL SEE YOU THERE offering MUD HUGS. PLEASE SHARE.

14.01.2022 It's been just over two years since the flood and the farm is looking better than ever. Some rain combined an unusually warm autumn and the trees are loving it.

09.01.2022 This weekend marks one year since floods swept through the #CityofLogan. While Council acknowledges that some families are still struggling to get back on their... feet, the citys recovery and the strength of its community has been nothing short of remarkable. It's great to see local residents and businesses such as Logan River Tree Farm and Spirits of the Red Sand at the Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum demonstrating real community spirit during challenging times, supporting each other and buying local where possible.

08.01.2022 Sincere thanks to Sam Mac and the Sunrise team for keeping the country reminded that we're still suffering here in Logan after the devastating flooding caused by ex tropical cyclone Debbie. We'll let you know when we're all cleaned up and back to trading.

Thank you will never be enough - and we have a long way to go.
