25.01.2022 Great to have the Kooralbyn International School Golf Mastery Program visit our studio today. Some very good improvements happening and great to see some new participants.

24.01.2022 It was great to visit Peninsula Kingswood today to install one of our putting platforms which enables practice from up to 11ft on straight and breaking putts. They also have usage of a Laser Optics straight line laser, elevated elastic line and V1 video analysis. Many thanks to David Capaldo, Stuart Byrnes, Garth Cusick, Brett Officer and the crew at Tasklake joinery for helping to deliver this project successfully!

24.01.2022 Ryan Lumsden from QGolf has been here the last two days providing swing analysis to PGA IGI participants based on the Gold Coast at Sanctuary Cove.

24.01.2022 Huge improvement in swing and ball flight from Perfectstroke GTC client John Gaskell over the last four weeks. A month ago his swing path direction was more than 8 degrees left with every club and face well open to the path. Now he can swing in to out and hit draw shots increasing his ball speed and carry distance dramatically. Numerous hours of drills and exercises have made this possible. Well done John!

24.01.2022 Just finished the installation of a Perfectstroke Adjustable Hitting Platform at the new golf teaching studio at Peninsula Kingswood Golf Club in Melbourne. This will be one of the best golf facilities in the country with recent modifications to the two golf courses, new clubhouse and teaching studio equiped with the latest and best. Will post more pictures and video when it is complete.

21.01.2022 We are in the middle of a month long battle with Foresight Sports users in the UK in the FSX Skills Challenge Australia v UK. Currently the UK is slightly in the lead with an average score of just over 38 points per player. Just set my PB today to tie the best score in the event with Carl Cross from the UK also scoring a 50. Anyone that comes in to the Perfectstroke Studio can set a score and try to get into the top ten and get involved.

20.01.2022 James Goffman in the putting studio today working mostly on timing and tempo. We used Blast Motion but SAM PuttLab was more effective in helping to get the proper acceleration, length of stroke and timing and tempo. This is a big change from what was happening earlier in the session.

20.01.2022 These two images are of me demonstrating for a client the differences in release for a draw and a fade. One of the five basic ways I teach to hit draws and fades. Not very often I do a demo swing nowadays.

19.01.2022 Perfectstroke Putting Aid in 2008 This is a video of the Perfectstroke Putting Aid from sometime in 2008 demonstrating its use on straight and breaking putts. I still haven’t seen a better putting training aid for developing aim and stroke mechanics that can be verified with technology and improved outcomes. Next version should be available in late 2019.

19.01.2022 Tested out SkyTrack launch monitor in the upstairs bay today and it works pretty well. Tried to also do some comparisons with GCQuad but there is some sort of interference with SkyTrack not registering most of the time. On the occasions it did pick up the flight was comparable and distance within a couple of yards with mid irons

16.01.2022 Some pretty dramatic changes in set up suggested for Ben Enser from Kieser Bundall during a recent session. These modifications will hopefully help improve perception of target line for all putts, will help reduce face rotation and arc and increase consistency. Practicing with feedback from technology and training aids will make a big difference in gaining better outcomes.

12.01.2022 Great results on SAM PuttLab analysis system today from Jack Korotcoff who averaged an overall rating of 88.6 on three different putt types. Seven putts on each of straight, left to right and right to left putts with consistency average of 89.8. Amazing results achieved through practice with feedback and sound advice.

08.01.2022 The Perfectstroke Putting Aid is the only putting training aid that can be easily and accurately used on straight and breaking putts. Once the alignment strip is correctly positioned the player can aim it directly at the start line on any type of putt. 01.01.2022 Wollongong's Mitch Costello has claimed the Spring Cup title and Men's Open winner at the Leukemia Foundation Fundraiser event at Benowa Bowls Club on Sunday. In spite of what was thought to be a disasterous five putt on the last hole he claimed the title by two shots from PGA member Henry Epstein. Amazingly he made three Hole in One's during the round and was in position to also claim $500 as the first person to break 30 putt's playing GolfBowls 2Putt.
