17.01.2022 That time of year! We are starting to get busy again, with the warmer weather. Dont forget to spray your bindis now before those nasty prickles appear. We find the dedicated bindi and clover killer, which we dilute and apply in a watering can, more effective than the spray on products that kill both weeds and fertilise.

15.01.2022 Well it's been pretty quiet in the lawn mowing business with the cooler weather, but if you want a great lawn come summer, there are a few things you can do:- 1. Rake up leaves and trim trees so your lawn gets as much sunlight as possible. 2. Aerate your lawn. Easily done with a gardening fork, inserted into the ground and wriggled. 3. Fertilise as required. Many people prefer organic chicken pellet style. 4. Now is the time those pesky bindis pop up. Dig them out before they... seed or use a selective herbicide. However, if you have a buffalo style lawn, make sure you select the product that is safe. Take note of the instructions regarding safety to pets. 5. Don't overwater. Need more information? 13.01.2022 I've had a steady stream of house yards and acreages to attend to over the last few weeks. I've done several visits to provide an accurate estimate for the work required and I've discovered that there are some really steep yards that need a four wheel drive mower. I cannot match some ridiculously low quotes - to do a good job, use safe and serviceable equipment and maintain a registered business, including public liability insurance, necessitates a fee that at least covers my costs. So I really appreciate my customers who value my high quality, timely work.
