25.01.2022 Over the weekend many of you might have seen announcements from the Premier regarding interstate travel as Queenslanders are able to venture further into New So...uth Wales. We anticipate that many will take advantage of this in the coming months. In doing so, please be mindful that there are still some restrictions in place and refer to the Border Restriction Public Health Direction prior to making arrangements. https://ucaqld.com.au/download/16874/ See more

24.01.2022 We trust those that went to services over the weekend enjoyed the changes in restrictions that were put in place. We are reliably informed that more than 20 CO...VID Wardens attended an extra session last Friday to make sure that plans and proposals were in line with guidelines. This is particularly pleasing to see and evidence that as a church, we are committed to doing the right thing and protecting our members. This latest coronavirus update for congregations and presbyteries includes information on social groupings, ticketed seating, cleaning requirements and operational updates. https://ucaqld.com.au/download/16874/

15.01.2022 Yesterday, our disaster relief team in Honduras accepted our first patients at our Emergency Field Hospital. This clinic is providing critical care to families ...after Hurricane Eta devastated local hospitals. We have also begun distributing water filters, emergency shelter material, and hygiene kits to local pastors. These supplies will equip pastors to aid hurting families in their respective communities. As Hurricane Iota approaches the same parts of Honduras and Nicaragua that endured Hurricane Eta, please keep these people and our team in your prayers.

15.01.2022 Many of you will have seen reporting over the last week regarding changes that will be made to COVID-19 restrictions. This update highlights the key changes.

09.01.2022 #RemembranceDay Loving God, we give thanks for the women and men who have answered the call to serve their nation in the defence forces in the past. We give t...hanks for those who serve today. At this time may we remember the past sacrifices that have been made and the current sacrifices that are being made by these people. May we never take peace and security for granted. We pray for the silencing of weapons and the cessation of all forms of harm and abuse. In the name of the prince of peace we pray. Amen.
