23.01.2022 What a wonderful first week! A special visitor yesterday was a highlight for some Prep Students.

23.01.2022 We were very lucky at school with this severe weather event. Have a wonderful holiday break and Easter We will see you all on Tuesday April 18 for the start of Term 2.

22.01.2022 Thank you to the wonderful Lighthouse Association and YMCA for supplying breakfast for the 3 NAPLAN breakfast. The children thoroughly enjoyed the mornings, making it an easy way to lead in to the testing days. Thank you too to all our wonderful staff who helped prepare, serve and clean up every morning. What a great school!

14.01.2022 Bullying no way Day today and our wonderful Year 3s with Mrs Anastasios and Year 6s with Mrs Duell made the paper weaved stars toward the target of One Million Stars for the no to violence wall at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. We will be part of This wonderful initiative with schools from all over Queensland. It was wonderful to see so many students take a stand against bullying, wearing orange in support. Well Done Loganholme!

12.01.2022 Introducing the wonderful Peer Mediation Team for 2017. They have completed their training and will commence duties in the Year 2 Play area. They are a very dedicated team and I look forward to witnessing their skills in conflict resolution develop througout the year.

12.01.2022 We had our Emergency Evacuation Drill this morning. We were very proud of our students. We were able to shave 2 minutes from the time taken to evacuate the entire school. Well done Loganholme SS.

11.01.2022 An action packed Week 2 at LoganHolme State School has seen two new teachers welcomed in to our community. Next week we have our Parent Information Evening on Tuesday evening. There will be two sessions 5:00-5:30 pm and 5:35-6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there. A request from our awesome Year 4 teachers please - this Sunday the Roald Dahl books are on sale as part of the Sunday Mail offer. They are wanting the copies of the Twits please for their English unit and would appreciate as many copies as possible. Thank you

09.01.2022 Behaviour Rewards Day today was a great success. Our students really showed how very talented they are. Easter Hat Parade was also successful. The Easter Bunny was very impressed at how respectful and well behaved all our students were.

07.01.2022 Thank you to all our wonderful families who came along to the ANZAC Day March from Wembley Road to the Logan Civic Centre. It was a very moving ceremony and our students were respectful and true ambassadors of our great school. Thank you to Mrs Welch and Mr Bray for supporting us on this very special day.
