Celebrating 25 years of LO-GO Appointments, the book recounts unique stories, challenges, and rewards of local government employees, told by people from across the sector. Shining a light on communities around the nation, many wrote of their good fortune in seeing parts of the country that most Australians do not. Helen... Passmore, Executive Director, LO-GO Appointments, was joined by Editor Ken Spillman and guests from all over Western Australia who have been involved in Local Government from as far north as Meekatharra to the South West. It was a wonderful night with many laughs and even an entertaining guitar solo by the talented John Read. The staff from LO-GO Appointments paid a lovely tribute to Helen and all her successes over the last 25 years.
