11.01.2022 Lola comes with history......Not only does this history make her special but it creates a point of interest around her story! Built in the early 1950’s, she was originally left abandoned on Roma’s famous Hospital Hill by a seismic company post war. She was later purchased by a gentleman named Bob Ashney and used as a caravan before being parked up on his family property at Bymount. Local historian Peter Keegan said he believed the caravan was tied up with a geophysical sur...vey conducted around Roma in the early 50’s by a seismic company. When the seismic company ceased operations in Roma they left four of the vans on Hospital Hill. Lola sure would have seen a thing in two in her time and now she has a purpose as a mobile bar for hire for private functions and events. Have you seen Lola around?
