21.01.2022 Good morning all, the airfield has received some much needed rain overnight. Unfortunately as a result, the airfield will be closed until further notice.

12.01.2022 It was a great morning for a fly on Saturday. With our club now flying again to club members-only at the moment. Once the government advisers of the next stage of restrictions opening, we hope to be able to invite the public again. Currently we are able to have up to 20 people on the airfield at once, if you are planning a visit can you please contact the CFI for information and requirements. Watch this space everyone.

06.01.2022 Mitch Watson whom is leaving Toowoomba to join the academy in Townsville. Mitch was our 2015 flying scholarship winner and has advanced his flying into all of our aircraft at the school, plus did some flying at sunshine aero club for his endorsement in retractable undercarriage and constant speed propeller. He has also been a committee member for years plus has built our new website and done so much on promoting plus Facebook for the school. Mitch has rebuilt his own aircraft and put it back in the air only recently. Lone Eagle Flying School will dearly miss Mitch and his smile and fun attitude he always brings to the school. The best part is he will continue to help from abroad for now while at the academy. Best wishes Mitch

06.01.2022 Good news, as of first light tomorrow morning the airfield will reopen after the recent rainfall. Lone Eagle Flying School is reopen for flight training with strict hygiene practices. To make a booking please contact Trevor on 0429 387 370.
